AOA# 840414DOB: 6/29/200222 yrs
HERD DISPERSAL UPDATE: Noche is an older experienced male who knows what he wants in life. He is very food motivated. He can be grumpy at times, but is very good with people. He also is very guard dog friendly. He is best pals with one of ours. We use Noche as our spit tester. He does well after being spit at because he can be bought off with food afterward! He is a great candidate to be trained because of his steady desire to eat. So, Noche can function as help on the farm and can be a loyal loving pet! Noche is a quality Bay Black. He is not True Black, however, and as a result his genetics are now less useful to us as we have moved toward a grey and black breeding program. We have been using Noche on a limited basis, and he deserves more work as a sireā€”so we are offering Noche for sale. Don't miss your chance to acquire this Champion male! Noche is an exceptional stud male with fantastic coverage all the way down to his toes and a correspondingly perfect conformation. He is dense, but his character and softness now are more typical of an alpaca his age. Noche is a large male with presence and a friendly personality. As a young male, Noche achieved quite a show record. Noche is a full Peruvian male out of two imports, with his sire being 5Peruvian Quicksiver. His lines are rare, and he would addition to any farm herd genetics. Noche has 28+ offspring on the ground, and he has proven that he throws dark color. Two of his offspring are fawn, but all of the rest are black, brown, or grey! He excels at improving conformation, bone, and size in his progeny. He has consistently passed his ribbon-winning characteristics on to his cria.

WWFC Margo Wilson

AOA# 31126243DOB: 10/13/201014 yrs
HERD DISPERSAL UPDATE: Margo is our gorgeous MAROON dam. She is just the most glorious color! Her blanket is solid. She has a lot of fleece, with average softness and nice density. Margo is an exceptional birther and mother. She features a lineage packed with quality and talent. Most notably, she features both Patagonia and Crescent Moon lines. Margo is a laid back alpaca. She will add unique color and unusual genetics to your herd, and you will be better for it! Born in fall 2010, Margo is a carbon copy of her maroon mother Shiraz! She is a slightly lighter maroon color than her late mother, and has very cute darker feet, nose, ears, and eyes. Margo has a great personality to match her fleece characteristics. She handles well and has a friendly laid back attitude with her handlers. She has good density and great coverage. Margo has a fantastic lineage, with Patagonia genetics on her mom's side, and Acero Marka Bolivian genetics on her sire's side. Her sire's lineage also includes well-known names such as Crescent Moon's Rayo del Sol, Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud, and 6Peruvian Fortunata. Margo is named for Margo Wilson, who was Professor of Psychology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Along with her husband and frequent research partner Martin Daly, Margo wrote many influential papers and books in the field of evolutionary psychology. She was a former editor-in-chief of the journal of Evolution and Human Behavior, along with Daly, and former president of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society. Margo has had two crias: a cute true black little boy in September 2013, and another cute dark brown boy in June 2015. Contact us to discuss the possibilities!

Description

Robbie is our first 2015 cria! Robbie is named for Robert Hooke, who was an English natural philosopher, architect, and 17th century "Renaissance Man." He is sometimes characterized as "England's Leonardo." Hooke built some of the earliest Gregorian telescopes to observe the rotations of Mars and Jupiter, and inspired the use of microscopes for scientific exploration with his book, "Micrographia." He investigated the phenomenon of refraction, deducing the wave theory of light, and was the first to suggest that matter expands when heated and that air is made of small particles separated by relatively large distances. He performed pioneering work in the field of surveying and map-making and was involved in the work that led to the first modern plan-form map. Hooke also came near to an experimental proof that gravity follows an inverse square law, and hypothesised that such a relation governs the motions of the planets--an idea which was subsequently developed by Isaac Newton.
