If you are looking to breed to a phenomenal herdsire than D-Son is your guy! D-Son has the presence that turns heads and grabs the attention of everyone in and out of the show ring. He has a solid frame that is straight, correct and PROUD! His dense topknot and typey head are just the beginning of this complete package. His fiber sparkles in the sunlight. It opens easily to display his solid character and individual staples of over 5 inches. D-Son has an INCREDIBLE pedigree. His sire is Leprecan, a 12x winning champion who's grandsire is Shackleton! Shackleton, a black male brought from Chile, was for many years one of the finest fleeced males found in Patagonia. This is remarkable if we consider that 10 years ago, the difference in fineness between black and white alpacas was much more apparent than it is today. At three years of age Shackleton's histogram was 18.9m/3.8sd/20.1cv/1.2%>30. Shackleton is also the sire of Patagonia Neruda! Now we go to D-Son's dam's side and who do we find? To begin with D-Sons grandsires are Chaparral & PB White Lightning! Chaparral's bloodlines speak for themselves. With over 50 offspring, Chaparral is truly one of the best herdsires in the country and White Lightning is owned by Greg Mecklem, Pacific Crest Alpacas. He sired 26 offspring, 14 female and 12 male, before he stopped breeding. White Lightning crias are rare and there will not be any more! I could continue listing the animals behind D-Son. It reads like a Who's Who list of some of the greatest herdsires in this country! We are confident that D-Son will be an impact male in the near future and look forward to seeing his progeny hit the show ring in the near future. Wouldn't you like to go on the ride with us? If so, check out the breeding special we are offering on D-Son!

FMA Drifter's Etsy Lee

AOA# 32034387DOB: 9/2/201113 yrs
We are downsizing so that our herd better fits our lifestyle and our PASTURES. This girl is a beauty! She's a great mom and her new farm will be lucky to have her! Etsy Lee is an AMAZINGLY beautiful daughter of TGF DRIFTER. He gets the job done with all of his cria and Ms. Etsy Lee is no exception. Her conformation is exceptional, her fleece is dense, and her color is simply gorgeous -- medium brown on the books, but a beautiful MAROON to the eye. Awesome genetics in this girl! Her Sire TGF DRIFTER is a SNOWMASS LEGACY GOLD son. And DRIFTER'S grandsires are LEGACY and EL NINO. Impressive genetics here. Her Dam, CALIDAD CARNELIAN is no slouch either. "NELLIE" is the 1st offspring of the Award-Winning True-Black Herdsire, CANZELLE"S ZAMBEZI. She is also a CHAMPION with multiple Blue Ribbons in her show days. Her pedigree also includes DANKO, PPERUVIAN VICTOR, SINOPSIS NOCTURNA, and PERUVIAN HEMINGWAY G171. Also very impressive genetics. So it comes as no surprise that Etsy is a stunning female. From her fine, crimpy, and dense fleece to her flawless conformation, she is the complete package. Her beautiful maroon coloring seals the deal! Etsy Lee was bred to Leprecan-D-Son and produced a beautiful female cria with perfect conformation and beautifully dense, fine, crimpy fiber.

Description

Meet Lady Mackenzie! A super bright, well-packaged young female. Her conformation is spot-on and her fleece is bright, fine, and dense with good crimp architecture. Her dam is FMA Drifter’s Etsy Lee, a daughter of FMA Drifter (son of Snowmass Legacy Gold), and a beauty in her own right. Etsy Lee's fleece is a rich, maroon color with fineness not usually seen on darker animals. Her sire is 4MAF Leprecan-D-Son, a fine, dense, dark fawn male. He is the son of Leprecan, a 12x champion whose grandsire is Shackleton! Mackenzie hit the show ring this Spring and came away with 4th place in a very competitive class of light brown juvies at Nationals! The judge, Diana Timmerman, commented on her brightness, conformation and fineness - especially important in brown! Mackenzie will enrich your breeding program. Check her out and let's talk!
