Manchester has the gorgeous dark brown fleece with black points and with his background from .38 Special and NeverSummer's Ladysmith, he produces incredible color of brown, black or grey. His fleece is dense and bright with wonderful handle, bundling and definition. Awesome zipper crimp style! Manchester is a very big boned male and has incredible presence and conformation. As he matures he is just getting better and better. **Look at the fiber stats for 2016!! Manchester's offspring are looking great! As was our intention, he covered several colors of dams so that we can prove out what he will throw. He has thrown rose grey, true black, fawns and browns. Our observation at this time is that he throws a shade or two darker than the dam. Manchester' daughter PJA's Mariah claimed a Reserve Color Brown Female banner at GWAS 2016! Mariah remains in our herd as a foundation female. PJA Tia Maria- his daughter born 2016 is a gorgeous True Black that is (as of TxOLAN 2018) a 5x banner winner! SOLD Another of his lovely daughters, PJA Manchester's Dixie Rose took a 1st place and Color Champion at MOPACA 2018 in her first show as a 7 month old. At the time of selling Dixie Rose, she has claimed 5 banners at only 1 1/2 years of age!! SOLD ** update April 2019 see Dixie Rose with 11 banners** A son of Manchester's, PJA Zydeco Man also pulled in a Color Champion banner with his gorgeous true black juvie fleece! SOLD Manchester is throwing beautiful offspring. Dark Fawn when bred to fawn, True Black when bred to black and Rose Grey when bred to Rose Grey!! Manny is showing us he is a great producer of black! He threw 5 black offspring in 2016! His black offspring sell - heck some as crias with dams before we can even list them. For instance, PJA Summer Windsong sold as a cria and is sure to go on and be another showstopper!!

Marissa is truly the case of lots of alpaca in a little package. Marissa has award winning fleece, taking a blue and reserve champion as a yearling, among others. She hated the show ring, and had a short career, but made a huge impression while she was there. Marissa is well made and very balanced, at about 130 lbs. She has a beautiful teddy bear face, with a short muzzle and big eyes. Her first cria, Smoking Ember, was a knockout in the showring. Long, lean and elegant, this boy has incredible fleece. He is one of the only true blacks Ive seen that has absolutely no white fibers in his fleece. Marissa passed on the teddy bear face and big eyes, which the judges loved. Unlike his mother, he loved the show ring, and the attention. He took several 2nds and a 3rd. Marissas second cria, 38 Magnum, is another stunning black male. His sire, Neversummers Manchester, is a powerhouse of fiber and lineage. Magnums fiber is as incredible as his genetics testify. Magnum did well in his first show, taking 6th out of 9 against some tough competition, despite being put in a true black class with some bay black characteristics showing. Update: Marissa and Gulliver gave us our first home grown classic gray. A bright faced rose gray boy, Boots has Marissas beautiful face and his daddys coloring. We are very pleased with this boy! Marissa sells as a non breeder, fiber girl. She is still producing wonderful fiber and should for some time. Marissa has become quite the watchdog, she notices everything in the area and is among the first to the fence to protect her herd. U will know right away if there is anything near your herd, even if its just a house cat!

Description

We are very excited about Magnum. His sire Neversummers Manchester is a commanding presence in the show ring, earning many ribbons and championships, and siring many champions as well, including Magnums half sister Pleasant Journey Tia Maria. Tia Maria has 3 color championships, 2 reserve and many other ribbons. Magnums dam Columbine Ranch Marissa is a champion also. Magnum is a very well made male, with luscious fiber that is dense, and long stapled with zipper crimp. He has an amazing 6 lb blanket, with good fiber coverage and strong straight legs. He has been to several shows, and handled them very well. He has been in big classes, with many awesome animals, and has taken ribbons in all of them. Magnum was "dinged" in his last show because he had some brown showing on his legs. The judge announced that since she had so many great animals in one class, she would pick the "most black" as the top winners. He still took 5th in a full class. We are happy with his results. Magnum has black, dark brown, and gray in his lineage. What will he throw? Whatever the color, he will pass on his awesome conformation, and stunning fiber. Magnum has settled his first two females. Watch for spring 2021! Update: Magnums cria are on the ground! They are beautiful, and have his awesome fiber. One is a male out of ribbon winning Columbine Ranch Tajana and he is black! Another is a medium brown girl with dark points, out of Cafe Vienna, who herself is from a long line of Mile High Alpacas' champions. Update: Magnums cria are full adults now, and stunning. They are both larger sized alpacas, with strong bone structure and beautiful baby doll faces. Due to health issues we no longer show our animals but our alpacas are still show stock! Magnum has bred several outside females, we cant wait to see how they turn out.
