PATAGONIA'S LENNOX: Patagonia’s Lennox is one of the Greats!..As assessed by senior judge, Amanda VandenBosch, Lennox born in 2002 was an “A” quality herdsire in 2014. He has lingering fineness, bright, dense fleece, with a long staple length, typey head and compact body. His shiny brown fleece shimmers in the sunlight even to this day. Lennox made a mark for not only himself, but for Alpacas de le Patagonia, siring a multitude of quality offspring including champions and many progenies that are currently top breeding herdsires and foundation producing dams. His show wins are numerous with Color Championships, Get of Sire, and Blues, and in addition, his offspring have received multitudes of banners and ribbons. Lennox has produced black, brown, fawn, white and grey offspring. Patagonia’s Lennox had a skin biopsy of Density: 83.25 SQ MM (Rates in the top 0.5 % of all alpacas tested by Dr. Evans) S/P Ratio: 10.8 to 1 and this Histogram in 2004 year was: Histogram: 20.2afd/4.1sd/20.0cv/1.6%>30 (taken at 2 years of age) REMARKABLE SHOW RECORD: Lennox's outstanding achievements are too numerous to list. Congratulations & thank you to Crescent Moon, Red Granite Ranch & Sopris Alpaca Farm for their purchase of Estates Passionate Fever! MEET 14x CHAMPION and 3x JUDGE’S CHOICE WINNER-ESTATES PASSIONATE FEVER! Fever is the son of Snowmass Pure Passion, our outstanding champion producing stud with 7 GET-OF-SIRE Blue Ribbons! Passion represents 30 years of passion in breeding for the perfect-colored fleece on the most beautiful-bodied alpaca. Snowmass Alpacas said, “Snowmass Pure Passion is the most magnificent Light Fawn Matrix son Snowmass Alpacas has ever produced.” Fever's maternal grandsire is Patagonia’s El Galan, our magnificent 4x champion & multiple blue-ribbon winning herdsire out of Patagonia’s Cayo. His maternal great grandsire R&R Oliver Twist has consistently produced outstanding offspring in Canada and the U.S., that exhibit fine, uniform micron in their fleeces, along with crimp & correct, solid conformation. In 2019, Passionate Fever was evaluated as an A+ by senior AOA Judge Amanda VandenBosch. "He has excellent substance of bone, balance to frame, fiber coverage, good organization within staple, maintains consistency across fleece, moves to the extremities to neck, good density relative to fineness." Jill Marcellus said, "He’s a very refined looking male, He’s moderately sized, right in the middle there, & that can be very useful in a breeding program. He’s got good balance & proportion, excellent substance of bone, & a very typey male with a good strong phenotype. I really like his head style as well. His fleece is very fine & exceptionally uniform in all the fleece traits. I pulled samples from all over the place on him & really there is virtually no difference from mid-side to right into the front shoulder area to over to the hip. That also carried through with the staple type and also the expression of character through the fleece. It’s very uniform right across his body and underneath his belly." Passionate Fever was a superstar in the show ring and his offspring are too! We are thrilled to announce that Fever's 2022 daughter (Estates Fever's Fancy Flower) brought home the coveted Judge's Choice award as well as TWO Color Championship banners and Blue Ribbons (Both Halter and Walking Fleece) from the 2023 Houston halter show! We are over the moon!
