PATAGONIA'S VITTORIO: Patagonia’s Vittorio is sired by the black renowned herdsire Nishio and dam, true black Patagonia’s Querida, a 2x Color Champion with three Blue Ribbons. Nishio was the Black Color Champion at AOA, the 2004 All-American Herdsire of the Year and the 2007 Reserve All-American Herdsire of the Year, plus other recognition. along with receiving an amazing 8x Get of Sire awards. Patagonia’s Vittorio has a stunning head, perfect bite, and excellent conformation. His fleece has incredible density and a uniform, high-frequency crimp. Patagonia’s Vittorio’s show record consists of ten ribbons including a First Place at The Futurity and a First Place at Buckeye Alpaca Show. Vittorio was recently evaluated to have 24-26 micron at almost 12 yrs. old by Cheryl Gehly, very good having absence of guard hair, brightness, uniformity of color, & above average with a lovely handle, character/crimp, density & weight/harvest. PATAGONIA'S FONTANA Fontana's sire, Patagonia's Ernesto is our magnificent Judge's Choice, 7x Champion & 5x Get of Sire award winning light brown herdsire. He is well known for his ability to stamp his positive traits onto each of his offspring. Ernesto is out of the legendary Patagonia’s Lennox, who has countless ribbons, and is a 14x Get of Sire winner, including 3 Get of Sire blue ribbons! Her maternal grandsire, Patagonia's Vinci, won 1st place at most of the major shows of 2004, including the International Alpaca Odyssey, North American Alpaca Show, All-American Futurity and the Great Western Alpaca Show. Many breeders believe that only alpacas of Peruvian descent can compete and do well in the white classes, but Vinci has disproved this idea. Vinci is a Nishio son. Nishio is Alpacas de la Patagonia's top black herdsire and was the 2004 All-American Herdsire of the Year, 2007 Reserve All-American Herdsire of the Year, and the winner of the 2005 AOBA Get-Of-Sire. Vinci is also the full brother to Solstice who was the SUPREME CHAMPION at the 2006 International Alpaca Odyssey.
