PATAGONIA'S EL COMISARIO: El Comisario is a spectacular boy with a true to type head, thick bone and a dense, crimpy fleece. El Comisario’s dam, Patagonia's Chic, is one of Patagonia's top true black females and descends from our best black female line. From this line, have come our most successful black alpacas such as Queen, Black Rose, Sombra, and Simone to name a few. All of these girls have won multiple black championships at level 5 shows and have all been AOBA National black color champions. El Comisario is sired by El Vasco, Patagonia's top Neruda son. Like his sire, we expect El Comisario to maintain a soft hand in his fleece as he ages. We have had such success with this breeding combination that we have bred Chic to either El Vasco (Neruda son) and Neruda 7 times. Closely related siblings to El Comisario include, Patagonia’s Juniper who sold as a maiden for $80,000, Patagonia’s Mondavi who was on our 2006 showstring and is now a working herdsire, Patagonia's Gaucho, a black herdsire on Patagonia's farm and Patagonia's Laelia. PATAGONIA'S YSABELA Ysabela's exquisite fleece is very soft, dense, and exhibits a high frequency crimp throughout the blanket. Like her sire, Ysabela has a spectacular head and an appealing body structure. Ysabela's dam, Frida is a Lennox daughter. Ysabela's maternal granddam, Melosa was one of Alpacas de la Patagonia's top producing females and produced two of their most successful herdsires - Kaspa and El Vasco (each with over 100 crias on the ground). Ysabela's sire Vittotio, is a solid-colored Nishio son. Offspring: In 2014, Ysabela had a lovely true black female cria, sired by our Patagonia's El Comisario. (Her daughter, Patagonia Estates Yosemite Girl is now a Champion Producer - giving us 2X Champion, ESTATES YOSEMITE CLOUD) In 2015, Ysabela gave us a beautiful light fawn female cria, sired by our R&RTrojan 52T. In 2016, Ysabela had a handsome brown male out of Snowmass Pure Passion. In 2018, Ysabela presented us with a handsome light brown male sired by Patagonia's Antonio. In 2020, Ysabela gave birth to a wonderful brown male out of Estates Legendary Picasso.
