Rosie, Rosie, Rosie....We love Rosie. We also love her 2009 cria Abraham. She is currently bred to the infamous Black Reserve Champion Midnight in the Tropics. She is a big girl who typically delivers early...right around 10.5 months gestation. Despite the short gestation she produces some of our largest cria. She hold the record here at Sabamba with one who weighted in at 25#'s. Wow We have sold all but a couple of her offspring and as she gets closer to her final breeding years we are hanging on to her offspring. We certainly are hoping for a girl his year. Her daughter Grace is close to full term on her first and her son TNT may start breeding this summer. Rosie did it! She produced a 2018 female cria at is a mini Rosie. We named her Midnight Rose and we love her! She is also a bit of a milk thief as we have caught her under a few other mommies in the barn. We have decided to give Rosie one more breeding and repeated the 2018 pairing with Midnight in the Tropics. Rosie will be a retiree here at the ranch as we cannot image sender her anywhere else to live out her final years.

Description

TNT will be competing in a few weeks at the Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Festival. He has grown into a very nice male. We will see what the Judge Peter Kennedy thinks of his fleece. Our fleece samples will be sent to Yocom after shearing has been completed this spring. His consistency in Length color and fineness should come through in his fiber test. Sabamba will also be participating in the EPD testing through Yocom so stay tuned for all of TNT's results. His dame has produce color champions for us and his sire is a color champion so we have big plans for this one. He may even be able to start his breeding career this summer. If you are interested in co-owner ship of a male we may be interested as well. Contact Sally at 920-371-0003
