The day Applause was born, we were wowed! It was the first time we didn't say, "If he only had a little more this" or "a little more that." Applause was born a knock-out and he has not disappointed us. He has an incredible soft handle and loads of crimpy-to-the-end, dense fleece. Out of our foundation dam Heatherbrook's Masquerada and sired by Amanda Vanderbosh's legendary grey herdsire Bisturi (who is no longer in the country), Applause has the best of both! Bisturi's body style and lovely dense crimp style and Masquerada's fine, soft handle and strong color genetics. His body style is stout, big-boned, and solid. When he walks by, he makes a statement. He has a perfect bite and a head to die for. We cannot say enough about this young male to do him justice. At 8 years old, he still grabs the attention of every visitor on our ranch! Just today, one asked about him and said "I'll remember him!" We could not be more pleased with the cria this male is producing. He is predominately throwing gray, even when bred to other colors. We are also excited about the rich, dark silver color we are getting, passed down from his dam! We believe our success is in the success of our clients!!!

GREAT DAM! GREAT PRODUCER YEAR AFTER YEAR! Penelope has been a great producer for us and her cria sell themselves. She has a beautiful blue-gray blanket that is virtually spot free. Her conformation is spot on. Her sire, Legend's Challenger of KPR, is a top gray sire that has produced champion after champion. Her pedigree is loaded with gray icons on both sides! Penelope is currently bred to A Paca Fun's Sonic Shift, our "game changer" at Heart & Soul, who was the densest gray male ever tested by Alpaca Consulting Services as of 2017. All of her cria are striking to look at from day 1. They are solid and strong and she is a great dam with lots of milk. Penelope is an easy keeper and has had no health issues, ever. We hate to part with this girl, but you cannot keep them all. Her May 2019 cria is knocking our socks off! We can't wait to see who she produces next!
