Ascent has a cria on the ground & he has won two blues so far! AuSable Valley's Ascent has exquisite fleece and solid conformation with very nice head style & full coverage. His fleece is crimpy and soft with lots of staple and bundling. Ascent started how show career with five blue ribbons & a banner in his first five shows: 2007 North American Alpaca Show Judge Vanderbosch commented "soft handle, nice character, good density, perfect conformation. 2007 MAPACA Jubilee Judge McCloud said: Ascent had good overall size development for his age and considerable testicular development. She appreciated his strong frame and correctness & that he was "packing lots of fleece with impressive staple, even character and fineness" Ascent took another blue! He bested a big class at Empire where Judge Timmerman said "I was impressed by all aspects of this boy, he is put together very well, perfect form, proportions are correct, substance of bone, bite, a stunning male with stunning fleece carrying softness, brightness, excellent crimp and excellent length of staple, very even fleece characteristics across the body." Ascent was awarded a blue at VT. He was in VERY close consideration for the reserve championship. Judge Burhman commented that she wished she could have given two reserves because he is such a nice male". Ascent won his 5th blue in 5 tries at the 2007 NJ show and topped off the year with a R Color Championship! Judge Barboza-"well packaged, flawless conformation, nice combination of staple length, density and uniform character throughout his fleece, incredibly soft handle and great brightness." Miss Angel is just that – an Angel that we have been blessed with at our farm. She encompasses all that is sweet and gentle. Miss Angel is a light fawn female who proudly wears the title of “farm greeter” and will melt your heart. This personality is that of her dam, who is the best foundation female on the farm. Angel’s dam, Aysen’s Dimmi Tuttu consistenly has given us year after year cria that captivate her density and sweet easy going personality. Dimmi also proudly takes recognition for consistently throwing show cria who are awarded ribbons and a record of 60% female progeny. Angel’s sire is Lazy’s Phoenix, a Caligula grandson who is just stellar. 2005 fiber stats include 14.9 micron with SD of 3.1!! Seriously – can you say FINE??? This guy also has an ultra impressive show record that includes 7 banners and 18+ BLUES…still want more? Large bone and consistent crimp.. more you say? How about a variety of color in offspring and some show stoppers to boot! We paired Ms. Density (Dimmi) with Mr. Fineness (Phoenix) and the result was exactly what we hoped for – Miss Angel - the perfect combo of the two. Angel has a load of fleece – great coverage and long staple. She shows great fineness and density as well as awesome bundling. Tiny zipper crimps and terrific handle – what more can you ask for? She has good conformation, good bone, straight lines and flawless bite.
