June 28, 2015. Captain receives Black Male Color Champion and Black Male Reserve Champion at the 2015 AOA Nationals Fleece Show (with over 540 fleece entries). Wow!!! This show stopper is just what we were looking for. Captain Midnight's black fleece exhibits extreme density, brightness and a zipper crimp usually seen in white fleeces. Oh, did I mention it's fine too? Captain's sire, Black Midnight, has a highly advanced black fleece with excellent density and outstanding fleece character. Although Black Midnight did not like the show ring, he managed to obtain Multi Championship status including the 2010 Futurity. Captain's grandsire is the well known, multi-champion MFI Peruvian Jericho. Captain's genetics read like the who's who in the alpaca world and he stands proudly among them. Amber is a pretty female with solid bone, correct conformation and bite. Her fleece is soft with good density and consistent crimp architecture and color. Her sire, Danko, a well known and sought after grey male who has sired many award winning offspring and her Dam, Linnea, a beautiful rose grey female. Amber herself is an excellent mother, easy birther, an abundance of milk and a pleasure to be around. Amber's 2013 cria, a MB male who sold at 9 months of age. Her 2015 cria is a picture perfect Light Fawn female sired by our 13X Champion, AML El Duro's Magnum. Amber's 2016 cria is stunning Fawn female sired by our multi champion, Crystal K-O - not sure I want to part with this new girl, born 7/27/16. Amber's 2017 cria, sired by 18X Champion Captain Midnight, is yet another striking female.

His fleece is bright, with excellent consistency of crimp architecture and staple length. We have bred him across all colors anticipating an array of beautifully fleeced crias in the coming years. His dam Snowmass Foxy Fantasy is the grand-daughter of one of the top grey herdsires in the country, Snowmass Enlightenment.
