ARE YOU READY TO BRING THE QUALITY OF HEMI-ACCOYO GENETICS TO YOUR COLORED FEMALES? This amazing well proven mid-west herdsire has over 50 cria on the ground. The former owners, Vintage Alpacas have bred many of their girls to him before he came to us in May, as well as 6 other outside breedings! WHITE THUNDER is producing color from both colored dams and white dams. From Modern Greys & True Blacks to browns, fawns and elite whites. (When bred to a blue-eyed grey dam, Thunder produced a solid true Black female cria with dark eyes!) He already has multiple CHAMPION offspring in both TRUE BLACK and GREY!!!! WHITE THUNDER is an exquisite combination of ACCOYO EL NINO/CALIGULA and HEMINGWAY genetics. He has a dense topknot on a great body with large thick bone, extremely fine hand. high frequency AND high amplitude ELITE fleece with beautiful crimp from skin to tip, and is he ever dense! We are proud to co-own this great herdsire and bring these genetics to the east coast along with Artisan Alpacas & Harley Hill Farms under the "WHITE THUNDER SYNDICATE". HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Silver Grey

Johnny Bravo is that dark silver grey male that I had been looking for all along. It took me awhile to find him, but boy, better late than never! Purchased in-utero by his original owner, Johnny is the product of Crescent Moon's elite breeding program. His sire, Crescent Moon's Donato, is a 10x champion, including the futurity, and Johnny is his first offspring. As a son of the great ATV Adonnis, and out of a maroon daughter of Camilio, Donato's excellence is no fluke. He is passing it, along with his grey coloring, on to his offspring with great reliability. Johnny's dam, Crescent Moon's Morning Glory, represents a unique blend of elite genetics. Her dam is Nasahuento's Poppy, making her maternal half-sister to the legendary Rayo Del Sol. Her sire, Crescent Moon's Kryptonite, is a rare true black son of Legacy, who has proven his ability to produce the extreme fineness that made his sire a legend -- only in black and grey. Johnny carries the awesome type, total coverage, and beautiful headstyle that I want to see in an alpaca. He is an ideal size -- not too tall, but very stocky, with an excellent spring of rib to accompany his fantastic bone. His conformation is excellent. I already mentioned the head, but it's so great that I need to mention it again -- his head rocks. Excellent density, brightness, and a beautiful crimp style characterize this guy's fleece. He is not lacking in the area of fineness, either, as his first fleece carried an AFD of 17.7; his second had an AFD of 18.8 and a comfort factor of 95.9%. His coloring is one of my absolute favorites -- a dramatic, extremely dark silver grey with swirls and spots of light. Well, Johnny's first six cria have arrived, and while they are all gorgeous -- beautiful heads, great coverage, big bone and bright, bright fleeces -- not one of them is grey. We are aiming for quality, to be sure, but we are exclusively grey breeders here, so sadly, Johnny isn't going to get much work here the way our program is structured. He's never been bred to grey, so a grey breeder who is willing to take a chance on him might get a killer deal. Otherwise, I'm happy to have him hang out -- he is some serious eye candy.

Description

Now THIS is a foundation female. A dam who looks like a stud -- and produces it, too. Thunderstruck caught my eye in the background of a photograph of another alpaca. She is just that impressive. She has a stunning appearance with one of the most impressive topknots I have ever seen on any alpaca -- male or female. This is a breed trait that she comes by honestly, as her sire, BHA Peruvian White Thunder, is well known for putting this incredible headstyle onto his offspring. White Thunder is a multiple get-of-sire winner and full brother to El Nino's Precious Gemstone, a multiple champion female. Gemstone is, in turn, the dam of Dupioni's Vintage Troubador, a little-known male who ranks among the most prepotent we have seen for bone, fineness, and incredible breed type. This is a rock solid, prepotent family line. Then, Thunder's dam isn't a slouch, either. Adriana is herself a gorgeous animal and was a fantastic producer for her farm, Little Reata. Her sire, CPeruvian Jaxon from the Macusani co-op, was brought in during the 1998 import (widely regarded as the most stringent, and most outstanding), and was an impact black herdsire. Her dam, Peruvian Odessa, also from the '98 import, was likewise a fantastic producer, with over 80 ARI-registered descendents. Thunderstruck has the breed type that we -- and most show-ring breeders -- are striving for: outstanding headstyle with a deep muzzle and huge topknot, full fiber coverage, and massive substance of bone with a wide chest and rear. Her conformation is perfect. She has amazing presence, and looks more like a herdsire in the field than a female. Her fleece still has a very soft hand with zero extending primaries. My only complaint is that she is very large-framed, but given her quality, it's hard to complain too hard. Plus, her daughter, Maui, is the perfect size, demonstrating that she can throw compact when bred to it. Thunder's 2017 cria by Johnny didn't quite get the memo for grey -- he is a white-faced fawn. He is, however, the ONLY Johnny cria that even got a hint of tux pattern, so that's something! He has abundant crimp with a stunning head. Thunder will be bred to our U. S. Steel son, Tabokia, for her 2018 cria.
