2019 Reserve National Champ!
WLK Ryker
SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 35426783DOB: 10/11/20177 yrs
His sire, Spirit Dancer, has produced multiple champions in the show ring as well as in the fiber contests. His dam, Special Edition was National Champion and Judges Choice as well as full sister to Limited Edition himself.
His coverage is uniform with awesome density. He has a great head, bone, luster and lock! You can't go wrong with these genetics.
Ryker is available for full or partial interest. I am reducing my light herd and concentrating on darks. If you're looking for a light herd sire, you can't go wrong with this guy's genetics! If you're looking for a guy that maintaining fineness, improving lock structure and density, this is your guy!
Ryker's Biopsy by Dr. Norm Evans @ 5.5 years old:
His uniformity scan shows fiber clusters that are uniform in size and placement within his connective tissue. He demonstrates level 4 of 4 gland structure around most fibers. Glands should be associated with luster and fiber quality. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. Observe his 6 fiber cluster scan showing the S/P 10.5 to 1. Twenty five clusters showed an average S/P ratio at 10.3 to 1. The density study from 4 sections of 1 SQ MM of skin surface presently figures 57.25 follicles per SQ MM of skin. Based on 78 different views from this 10MM tissue punch I feel his genetic potential for density is in the 60+ range. One hundred typical secondary fibers averaged 18.3 microns while 50 typical primary fibers averaged 30.2 microns. This equates to a secondary primary micron of 11.9 microns and a AFD 0f 19.44 microns. WLK Ryker is in the small percentage of males that is quite fine for his age and is retaining his fineness of fiber.
