This guys dam has given us 4 boys in a row, but each one of them have been extraordinarily beautiful. We used her first son Aslan to sire quite a few offspring. Her dark grey son we loved so much we did repeat breedings in hopes of duplicating. Yet got solid beautiful true black loaded with fleece that we were having a little seller's remorse over selling and then this guy was born.
Freedom's formal attire, dubbed "Dino" aka the Dean Martin of the pasture. He has a nice bright crimp. His sire has beautiful conformation and really dense fleece - and an all-time favorite disposition. Even though we have retained another Romeo son who has pretty spectacular fleece we are tempted to hold on to this guy. He is gorgeous and has a nice disposition. He was quite the gentleman for a wedding reception greeter.
We entered him as a young guy in the California Classic and although he took a 5th place he had nicer score than some of our other hot shots. He received a 16.5 fineness of 20, 7.5 of 10 in uniformity of micron 7 brightness and somewhat surprisingly a 4.5 in color uniformity. This boy is such a looker we actually had several inquires regarding purchasing him at that show. His next show we had people stop and thank us for bringing him again they just loved seeing him so much.
Because of his striking appearance we used him for some events. His head and face coverage adds to his appearance and his fleece is nice. Since we let the youth who helped at shearing call his hairstyle, he now sports a mullet. It is said to be business in the front, party in the back.
