HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 200000691, CLAA# DOB: 8/3/200420 yrs
**This male has also put black on the ground!!!! ________________________ A SUPER SAM son in the USA! In light fawn! Quicksand has his own championship merits to stand on, but his ancestry backs him up. Normally, these generics are held close to the vest and not shared. We believe in moving the industry forward in measured increments. So we will sparingly share this male. Quicksand is a multiple champion Super Sam son. His dam is a dam of SUPREME champions. Normally we don't need to say much more...but we can and will... Quicksand has all the attributes which make him the "ideal" alpaca: - sound, well balanced "box-like" conformation, which moves flawlessly - great bone density on a fully covered and upright frame - excellent head shape, with a correct bite - calm temperament - heavy fleece which is: easily parted - ultra fine super bright - uniform long in staple length organized and even in crimp style He is truly one of the males that makes you stop what you are doing and just stare. He is the complete package. So go ahead, we don't mind. Stare. For he is stunning. Then take the judges' advice...breed all your females to this guy...he is the real deal. ________________________________ For the breeders who know Super Sam…no explanation is needed. Quicksand is a multiple champion Super Sam son. And Westwind Aleta produces SUPREME CHAMPION offspring. For those who haven’t heard of Super Sam…he is THE 16x Get-of-Sire award winning sire…THE Futurity winning herdsire male….THE herdsire to Futurity and Color and Supreme Champions in a whole array of colors….THE stud who changed the way the Canadians defined a true impact stud sire…THE stud who is CLOSED to outside breedings….and, of course, THE sire…to Quicksand.

Besame-Mucho of Strawberry Fields

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Brown
AOA# 35200420DOB: 7/4/201410 yrs
Besame-Mucho comes to our farm directly from the prestigious Parade of Champions sale. Only the finest alpacas in the nation are invited to Little Creek Farms for their Premier seedstock auction. Besame has rightfully earned her slot in this lineup, featuring tremendous fineness and beautiful soft, long fleece. 17 microns at 2 years of age to be precise! No surprise though, she hails from the legendary Patagonia Farms on the top and bottom of her pedigree. Patagonia's Lennox, elite genetics, clearly run through Besame's veins. Lennox, a prepotent a champion, with a long history of siring champions who pass these superior genetics through from generation to generation. We are eager to see how Besame produces for our farm. Her perfect conformation, calm demeanor, fantastic genetics and to-die-for fleece with lasting fineness are exactly what we are striving for as a farm. Lots of color genes in her background but with the fleece of a white. We think we hit the jackpot on this girl. Come see Besame for yourself, I think you'd also want to kiss her a lot. She produced Vivian in 2018, a fantastic dark brown female that brought home a reserve championship at the National Alpaca Fleece Show. Then in 2021 a stunning rose grey female, Mirame. Besame has been a fantastic mother and has shown her merit as a part of our foundation herd.

Description

Vivian hails from fantastic lines. Her dam, Besame-Mucho of Strawberry Fields is an outstanding dam who we purchased from the Parade of Champions sale. Yes, THE most selective, premier, alpaca seedstock auction. When Besame arrived, we knew we had something extremely special. Unbelievable fineness in a brown female with black in her background. Besame spent her first year with us just settling in, and bringing home a first place at the RailSplitter alpaca show. We knew that a female of this caliber needed just the right male. We chose Quicksand for the tremendous density and frame that he passes to his offspring. And then we waited. And waited. Vivian arrived early one summer morning and has simply blown us away! Up and nursing in no time. Smart as they get and healthy as a horse (actually much healthier). Density galore, incredibly fine and such a deep, dark color. Perfect conformation and all the makings of a remarkable show-stopper. We know that her dam carries lasting fineness and I had the honor of working with her sire's 12 year old fleece. Soft as butter with a long staple. This girl has the total package. Great phenotype and a fleece that will deliver for years! A reserve champion Cottage Fleece at the National Shows, unbelievable!! We cannot wait to see how she does at the shows in 2021!
