Limited Edition was undefeated during his show career in the full fleece halter class, 7 x color Champion, 4 x Judges Choice. WI Limited Edition was biopsied as a 22 month old white suri male. His ARI# is 35064428. His 15X scan shows small fiber clusters that are very uniform in shape and placement within his connective tissue. His density is 54.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio from 25 fibers are round and that he shows level 4 of 4 gland presence. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 19.5 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 26.6 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 7.1 microns. Limited Edition is the whole package. (Fineness, density, low micron variation between primary and secondary fibers, genetic traits) Limited has several crias on the ground now and he is passing these great genetics down to his offspring. We have seen color champions and lots of first place winnings. His offspring are definately following in his footsteps. Limited Edition won 1st place at MOPACA March 2019 in the Get of Sire class. The class was very competitive and a class of 7. The 3 offspring in the class came from our farm. He also won Get of Sire at 2019 Futurity and 2019 Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Light Colored Offspring. Another 1st place Get of Sire at 2019 Futurity, again a class of 7. This boy is on fire with his offspring. He already has a 8 x CC and 3 x Judges Choice offspring and several other banner winning kids with amazing fleece qualities and great confirmation. Vanity Fair is a stud production female. She is a MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous daughter out of a Baron daughter. The bottom of the pedigree also includes Torbio and Fuego genetics. She was the 2010 Nationals Judge's Choice as The Best Suri Female. Her genetics are outstanding and her EPDs are very good. Those EPDs can be seen by clicking on the link. She has a beautiful fleece with a consistent wave to a twist lock structure as pictured. Her luster is superb. She had a 19.5 lb male cria sired by WI Limited Edition on 8/10/18 and he looks like he'll be a good one. She has been bred to BRKRD Goldstar's Jet for a cria to be born right at the end of winter and start of spring in 2020. That should be a good one! Here is where we'll start. Limited Edition Davinci has both a sire and a dam that were not only Color Champions at Nationals, but both of them were also awarded Judge's Choice at Nationals. A lot more than that can be said, but that is a good place to start. On top of that, sire and dam both won Color Championships at The Futurity and overall, it can be said they won top honors at some of the largest and most prestigious shows. When one looks at the genetics it is no surprise that they did so well. Consequently, we expect Davinci will also be an exceptional Suri alpaca himself when we consider the genetics found in that sire and dam. Davinci's sire is WI Limited Edition. Besides the accolades already mentioned let's just say this, Limited was undefeated in halter show competitions. Limited never placed worst than 1st in any halter show competition and in every competition where there were enough alpacas for a Color Championship in halter, he won it. Limited's sire is Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has won 19 Get of Sire awards with 3 of them at Nationals, 2 of them at Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Goldstar is a prepotent herdsire and his son Limited Edition is producing champions, too. Limited's dam is special, too. She is DDF Accoyo Elena. Elena is a Kahuna daughter that has had 7 registered offspring and all 7 have been Color Champion banner winners and 3 of them have won a Judge's Choice at shows. Elena is definitely a stud production female! Davinci's sire was produced by combining two very special Suris! Davinci's dam is Andean Vista's Vanity Fair. Vanity Fair was a 5 time Color Champion in her show career and has EPDs in the top 25% or better in every category except for percent of medullated fibers. She also comes from some special genetics. Her sire is MacGyver's Armed & Dangerous. Armed & Dangerous was an 11 time banner winner, Color Champion at both Nationals and Futurity, and has been a Get of Sire winner 6 times. He produces champions and is also a prepotent herdsire. Her dam is Leraso's Veuve Clicquot. Clicquot was a 1 time Color Champion and the daughter of another prepotent herdsire, Baron. Vanity Fair is a stud production female. So, a person can definitely see some themes when discussing Davinci's genetics. The themes are Color Champions, Judge's Choice, prepotent herdsires, and stud production females. To have those themes one must have genetics that produce superb Suri conformation and a highly lustrous, very fine, and nicely locked fleece (check out the estimated EPDs).
