WPR Charley Waite

SuriHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 32109429DOB: 9/29/201212 yrs
We had a notion from the moment he hit the ground that Charley Waite was something special, and he hasn't disappointed us! His fleece has absolutely glowed with luster from day one, and he carries the wave-to-twist lock style that has become synonymous with elite quality. Add to that extreme fineness, great density and uniformity, plus a perfect frame and calm, macho disposition to give you the makings of a great herdsire. Charley is a 2nd generation Champion, out of the prepotent sire, SBS Crown Prince (Crown Royale x Arizona Sage), who is a 7x Champion and has garnered 14 Get-of-Sire blue ribbons...and counting. His dam is out of 6Peruvian Silver King and Fruzane Noir. We may sound a bit biased, so don't take just our word for it. Charley's histogram stats and biopsy results prove with sound, objective data that he IS fine, he IS dense, and he IS uniform! In Charley's short show career, he has amassed three Championships and a Judges Choice. He never finished lower than a blue ribbon in the halter ring, and also received the Best Luster award at the AOA Fleece Show. Charley's cria are hitting the ground and they are outstanding. Whether you base breeding decisions on science, or on show winnings, Charley deserves serious consideration for your girls. Charley's biopsy results have arrived, and they are great: 53.6 follicles / mm2 9.1:1 ratio between secondary and primary fibers 5.9 micron differential between primary and secondary fiber diameters SD primaries = 2.2; SD secondaries = 2.6 Charley's fleece is very uniform, as evidenced by the very low SD numbers and close differential. Also, the majority of his primary fibers fall within the diameters of his secondary fibers, which further verifies the uniformity, and explains why his fleece has an incredible handle and feels silky soft (and the judges agree!!) 2014 6-SAMPLE GRID HISTOGRAM (AFD, SD, CV, CF) #1: 15.3, 3.6, 23.9, 100.0 #2: 15.1, 3.5, 23.1, 100.0 #3: 16.8, 4.1, 24.6, 100.0 #4: 15.2, 3.7, 24.2, 100.0 #5: 16.8, 4.2, 24.8, 100.0 #6: 14.7, 3.5, 23.9, 100.0 BREEDING DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING: ** Drive-by ** Breeding to dams with biopsy of 45+ follicles per sq. mm ** Breeding to champion female ** multiple breeding package

TS Dorothy

SuriBred (Female)White
AOA# 32092943DOB: 5/14/201113 yrs
We knew the moment we saw Dorothy that she would be a great fit for our foundation herd. She has a calm, confident presence, beautiful conformation, and outstanding fleece characteristics. Her fleece is highly lustrous, fine and dense...she is consistently one of the top producers on the farm. She is a wonderful mom, birthing easy, very attentive, with plenty of milk for good daily gains. Her first cria is a knockout! He is covered from nose to toes with an amazing amount of fine, greasy, lustrous fleece...show quality, and future herdsire material without a doubt.

Service Sire: Goldstar's Zoltar

3x Judge's Choice, 6x Champ, great EPD's

Goldstar's Zoltar

SuriJr. Herdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 35383253DOB: 6/9/20177 yrs
Goldstar's Zoltar is the son of Lazy G's Accoyo Goldstar. Goldstar has won 19 Get of Sires with 3 of them at Nationals, 2 at The Futurity, and 1 at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. Goldstar has been taking his great Full Accoyo genetics and passing them on to his offspring to create champions since at least 2012 when he won the first of his 19 Get of Sire championships. Goldstar’s sire is the great Rockstar making him the grandson of the outstanding imported Accoyo herdsire Torbio. That lineage of males is known for consistently producing progeny with beautiful conformation and with fleeces that are fine, dense, nicely locked, and lustrous. That line is definitely prepotent. That prepotency is exhibited in Zoltar. Zoltar has those attributes and to insure that he will be a densely fleeced alpaca, he was born with great folds of skin on him that is commonly called wrinkled skin. Yes, wrinkled skin! Zoltar's dam has great genetics in her pedigree, too. It's a wonderful mix of alpacas that include some great Accoyo herdsires in Inca, Bruxo, MacGyver, Uribe, and Accoyo Gold. Her offspring show Zarina is an excellent producer as she has had 4 really nice crias sired by 4 different males. A sample from Zoltar's 2019 shearing has been submitted for EPDs and look at that histogram! Wow! Those are excellent stats! Check out his excellent EPD rankings by clicking the link. He had a skin biopsy in 2020 at age 3. His density is 71.8 follicles/sq mm, Secondary fibers average 18.7 microns, Primary fibers average 22.2 microns, and that's an S to P spread of only 3.5 microns. Zoltar has had solid results in the show ring. He had a fiber break as a juvie and halter shows were only as a shorn yearling. He had nothing but blue ribbons in his previously shorn halter classes. He's been considered for Color Championships, but never won a banner. The fleece shows have been different. He's back to back Light Male Color Champion in 2019 & 2020 at The Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show. He was not only champion at the 2020 AOA National Fleece Show, he also won Judge's Choice at that show. While wins at shows are nice, we are more concerned about the crias he'll sire after all this showing is done. We feel confident he'll sire really nice ones. A number of Goldstar sons are now the ones winning the Get of Sires at the shows like AOA Nationals and The Futurity. If Zoltar is like his dad Goldstar, who didn't have but 1 RC banner in his show career, and then later went on to win 20 Get of Sires because of his outstanding offspring, then we'll be happy. We have confidence that Zoltar will be an excellent herdsire! We proudly co-own Zoltar with Anderson Acres Alapcas and Suri & Company!

Description

Miss Barlow is the result of a cross between our multi-champion sire, Charley Waite, and our stud female, TS Dorothy. Highlights of her show career include a color championship, and 9 blue ribbons. Her 2023 EPD stats put her in the top 9% for MSL and top 12% for AFD & SD. Her 2020 skin biopsy resulted in 58.0 follicles/mm2, with a Secodary:Primary ratio of 9.7:1 and a spread of just 4.8 microns. She is half sister to Whistling Pines Ring of Fire, a 2x banner winner with top 3% EPD's for AFD, SD, & SF, and a density of 63.7 follicles. Incidentally, Ring of Fire is the sire of our super-dense, and 7x champion, herdsire, Vontae Mack. Density and great EPD stats run strong with Miss Barlow's genetics, as another half sister, Whistling Pines Worth the Wait has a density of 61.4 follicles, and is top 1% for EPD's in SD, and top 4% for AFD, SF, and %>30.
