PureSuri herd is the best example we can give of a superb breeding philosophy. The Armstrongs, formerly Latah Creek, dominated the suri show ring with, amongst others, their Inca line white suris and it was artistry in the making when we combined the lines of Latah Creek with those of Pucara Kahuna. Lexus was at the top of the class in our 2013 drop. He has grown out with exceptional density combined with fineness and who we have used extensively since spending his 2015 breeding season in Colorado at Goldyn Rae Alpacas. The production there verified our hopes for him to produce to the excellence of his line! He shows off a stunning head on a well conformed frame but its the fleece that spanks of his royal lineage. It is exactly what we breed for. High luster, in fact luster to burn! It is fine and dense and displays nice independence of locking with that buttery greasy handle that we love to see in our program. In March 2014 he tested at 18.6m 3.9sd 20.9cv Sired by none other than the five times Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year Pucara Kahuna, his mother also comes from immaculate lineage. PureSuri Lexus is a daughter of one of the densest males we have ever seen, LCA Viho (Inca son) and her dam is a Snowmass Ice Dancer daughter that is infused with the superior genetics of Uribe and Ganador. We have been stoked with the production from Lexus. We were offering him for sale but we don't think so any more! The cria have had blazing luster with density that is so hard to achieve. He has taken a very important place in our ET program. We are of course selling breedings. He will compliment your suri program with all the suri fleece traits that we admire.

A STUD DONOR FEMALE FOR THE PUCARA ET PROGRAM. Co-owned with Tim and Beth Sheets Heritage Farm White Lace snuck up on us! It happens alright? We did not show her but after her second shearing we saw a fleece bursting with vital satin bright luster. Looking more closely we saw extreme uniformity, fineness and locking that was lay upon layer of wide greasy folds. White Lace is a line bred female, daughter of a Kahuna dam and her sire Chakotah is a Kahuna grand son. Perfect line breed. Now we thought lets give her a Kahuna son and sure enough the result was dynamic. She gave birth to a brilliant son, Pucara Kahuna's Fanning, who stood out in our 2015 drop. Incredible density in a fleece with oodles of luster, thick and greasy, layered and soft as silk. He took first at the Futurity in white 2016.Hmmm we thought!!! So we bred her in 2015 to a Kahuna son, JetStream. She did it again, possibly even better with a son that has stud quality written all over him! And that she wrote is why we put her up as a donor female for our ET program. Genetics and production!
