Talula in her own right is a blue ribbon black beauty! When she was born she had the longest staple we had ever seen and a silky like appearance. She is also a spitting image of her father, 2012 AOBA National Fleece Champion LKR Total Eclipse. Talula was specifically bred for, beautiful boxy head, short nose, compact body style with loads of coverage! Talula is an exceptional alpaca that has given us 3 beautiful cria, LS (Late Shift), Penny Lu and Sunshine, and Hershey. She is a great mom with awesome fiber and passes that along to her offspring. Talula was bred to Alchesay and produced a stunning and spunky boy, that has high quality fiber and even though he only has a couple of spots, the quality of his fiber is what we were breeding for. Alchesay was sired by Apache Gentlemen's, who has produced many stunning appaloosa cria. Alchesay's dam is Alpaca Rainbow Ranch's Valentine, who has also won a Banner and blue ribbons at shows. The combination of these two alpacas, gave us Alchesay and he has proven to be a Champion himself. Alchesay is our lead herdsire, here at Alpaca Rainbow Ranch. In 2025 we are hoping for 9 cria from Alchesay, with ranches that have brought in dams to breed with him.
