What a surprise. She is light to medium brown. The speckled legs are definitely from her maternal grandsire, multi-champion gray Blue Gate Mixtli, a Snowmass Red Hot Cognac son. Her first fleece was so long, nearly 6", it pulled the crimp out in the spring humidity. Her fleece came back much tighter after shearing. Cherry is very sweet and curious. She comes to investigate all visitors to the pasture but isn't a hands-on girl. Her mom is true black, so breeding options are wide open. Her maternal grandmother is a daughter of Peruvian Andrajo, who was one of Misty Ridge's premier sires. Cherry's sire is the awesome multi-champ TP Matrix Jubilee. Cherry was bred to Artic's Warbonnet, from Bluebonnet Hills Alpacas, for a spring 2019 cria. She had a bouncing 14.3 lb baby boy right on her due date of Feb 12 with no trouble. Lots of milk, too. Mr Knickers has some of her white leg markings, but not as much. And lots of little curls.
