We have bred Rocky to our darker colored females because we have seen dark colored offspring of Matrix Rose and think he will really add density and consistency to some of our females. We also wouldn't complain with a really interesting multi either!

Dalliance is a lovely dense and crimpy black We listed her as bay black but she looks more true black now. Her mother was a very unusual harlequin gray. It's possible that Dalliance will be able to make harlequin gray cria on her own we don't know but we hope so. Dalliance lost her mother when she was 3 months old and has been bottle fed since. Dalliance has a great personality, she knows she is an alpaca but she likes people too. She's also quite the character. She loves snow and rolls in it. She's always up to something. Dali gave birth to a stunning fawn male cria. He is extremely dense and pretty amazing. Dali is also letting other cria nurse on her so she is moving to our foundation herd

Description

We were hoping for spots when we bred Mr Rocky Road & improved density for Dalliance and that is exactly what we got. This young male has a really striking profile with amazing bone. He's extremely well built with a fleece that is beautiful. He has a white base with a light fawn saddle and tail for sure, along with a medium fawn spot on his side and back of his ears. I expect at shearing time we will get a better picture of what his pattern looks like because right now his cria tips are bleached out and not showing what is underneath well. He has great density with a bold crimp style with nice brightness. I expect this fleece to be really nice on shearing day & for years to come. His personality is very outgoing. He determined at 2 weeks old that a much larger female and our female llama should be his girlfriend and he's been determined to make them see the light. He figured out what he should do from the get go and in his mind at least is ready to breed :)
