Bright Water Ranch's Espresso was a lovely Bay Black female. She was the daughter of VF Yahoo too and BMR Sienna, daughter of Polaris, a very successful male in the alpaca industry. Espresso had a beautiful bright fleece with excellent crimp, and she displayed an excellent phenotype. Her bloodlines included recognizable names such as Peruvian Hemingway, Polaris, Peruvian Felix and Snowmass Snowmaster's Shiraz and she, herself, was in the top 25% for crimp. She had proven that she was capable of producing the ever-so-rare Calico Harlequin/Appaloosa in her offspring, Rare Gem Whole Latte Love, and a true black with a white heart on her chest, PBR Apache's Spirit in the Sky. Her sire, VF Yahoo too is a popular name with a Grand dam named Snowmass Snowmater's Shiraz. She has impressive crimp and fleece weight. BMR Sienna boasts Peruvian Hemingway as her grand sire. At 8 years of age and through 4 pregnancies, her 2009 histogram came back with a 23.8 micron and a CV of 19.4. Sienna has the Hemingway crimp: low amplitude, high frequency. Accoyo Pluro, a superior sire, was bred by Don Julio and used in his "Majada De Plantel", his best herd. In the short time PPeruvian Accoyo Pluro was in the US, he produced many exceptional offspring, making him one of the top herdsires in the country. Then, early in his breeding career, he was sold to an Australian investor and was one of Australia's top studs! Accoyo Pluro's offspring are known for their incredible fiber, coverage, and ample bone. Pluro is now deceased (2003), making his genetics very rare. Derwydd Manchu's Suyana, Scout's dam, is a stunning white Accoyo/Hemi-Accoyo out of El Nino and Hemingway lines. She won 4 blue ribbons and 4 Reserve Championships in 2010 and 1 blue ribbon and a Color Championship in 2011. She is extraordinarily dense and refined, with excellent uniformity.
