Avatar has been closed to outside breedings at Delphi Alpacas except to established clients and we will also have the same policy, with one tiny exception. We have to celebrate and to let you in on the celebration, we will offer three outside breedings at a special rate. This "celebration" deal is at Alpaca Annuals and only until July 2014 before he heads back to Delphi. The judges agreed - Avella was crowned the 2017 National Grey Female Halter Champion at just over 6 months of age. Jazz delivered another beautiful DRG Avatar daughter on 9/16/18. "Alta Mira" is the full sister to Avella. Alta Mira is not included with the purchase of Jazz. Jazz was also the adopted mom, of Nehi - a beautiful boy who lost his mom (to cancer) at just a few weeks of age. Jazz nursed both Avella and Nehi, both of which topped the cria group with their weight gains. Some very tough choices are part of our herd reduction plans. We are expecting to semi-retire in a few years, and we want Jazz to give be able to give her new owners many more babies.
