Dancing Elk's Glory B

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 32126372DOB: 7/2/201212 yrs
Glory B - Gotta love her name. Sometimes glory shines through in what we do. Amazing producer -just look at her crias! The first two by the same fawn sire produced beautiful rose greys (roan) color. This isn't even mentioning their dense fleece, lovely conformation and sweet dispositions. Both Romeo and Juliet are over the top cute! They have been top producers so far for us. We believe this girl is shaping up to be a true matriarch of sorts. Last summer she delivered a bouncing baby girl -over 20 pounder - from Aslan the king. If you look through Glory's pedigree you see on dams side a silver-grey great, Aussie Rockford & on sire's side, light color Peruvian Victor. Her info off of Dancing Elk's site where we bought her from was; Nice genetic lineage. Correct, straight conformation. TB fiber with long staple length, crimp, soft handle and brightness. Glory tipped out a brown color as a juvie but now the grey from her genetics is appearing. There is no doubt that this lends itself to her 2 modern rose grey offspring. 2013 Fiber Stats: AFD 22.8 SD 4.1 CV 18 %>30 3.9 After seeing what her daughter Juliet produced with 4-sight's Crawford, we decided to go for grey with Glory. She recently bred to Crawford and this should be a nice quality cria of any color.

Description

Romeo’s fawn sire at almost 3 years of age had 17.6 micron with 4.2 SD and extremely bright & crimpy Romeo received his 1st blue ribbon at 2017 GWAS show His first cria fleece was given to an extremely talented hand spinner who processed it with hardly any waste. It turned out beautiful! Romeo's nice conformation was evident at early age. Multiple people, besides his breeder also commented on his truly sweet disposition. Even the judge at the last shows commented what a well-behaved young man he is. Large fluffy frame and he is still a huggable sort. From a black dam & fawn sire came this modern grey. His dam does have a dark silver grey and medium silver grey in Aussie Rockford so he could really compliment grey females. We love his very sturdy conformation, dense fleece, gorgeous head and ears. His first cria was born at almost 20 pounds straight and strong. In summer 2020 he had an outstanding male born by a dark silver grey that we are pretty excited about.
