Patagonia’s Chilkoot is a compact herdsire with long staple length, fine fleece, and bright, luscious fiber. He has a beautiful head and compact body. In 2014, Chilkoot was assessed by Senior Judge, Amanda VandenBosch as an “A-.“ He has consistency in micron as well as in color, large bones, and a gentle temperament. His sire is Patagonia’s Lennox, the ultimate Multi-Champion herdsire. His dam, Patagonia’s Augusta, is a top-line production dam on our ranch. Augusta is a 3x Color Champion and received Reserve Champion at AOBA. Augusta also won 6 blues ribbons in her show career (one being at The Futurity). ESTATES SWEET CHARLEMAGNE Sweet Charlemagne has good density and structure. Her sire is Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates, whose genetics include PPeruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Andean Gold, Snowmass Andean Bronze, and his sire, the stunning TB Snowmass Andean Midnight, a beautiful, compact, true black “silky soft” male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. Sweet Charlemagne's maternal grandsire is Patagonia’s Ernesto, our magnificent Judge's Choice, 7x Champion and 5x Get of Sire award winning light brown male. Her maternal line also includes the legendary herdsires Patagonia's Lennox and Nishio. Sweet Charlemagne was on our 2017 show string. Judge Helen Testa awarded her a 2nd place ribbon at the 2017 Alpaca Breeders Invitational show. She also won 3rd place at the 2017 Western Alpaca Challenge from judge David Barboza. Offspring: On 6/24/20, Sweet Charlemagne presented us with a beautiful bay black female sired by our champion Lenox son, Patagonia’s Chilkoot. On 6/15/22, Sweet Charlemagne gave us a lovely bay black female sired by 6x Black Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima. On 8/24/23, Sweet Charlemagne gave birth to a pretty light brown female sired by our incredible Snowmass Pure Passion. Her daughter, Estates Passionate Charlemagene is a 2x banner winner!
