We are delighted to introduce Zaire, a truly exceptional addition to our herd. His Remarkable bone density, uniform color, and fineness, coupled with a superior disposition, set him apart. Born to Snowmass Illuminescence, who was bred to Snowmass Elite Legend when we acquired her, Zaire has quickly established himself as one of our main herdsires. We sent Zaire's fiber to Alpacapalooza in April 2017. Taking 2nd place at 7 months of age, Sharon Loner, the fiber judge, wrote on his fiber score card, "The fiber is very uniform in Color". The rest of his scorecard shows all categories with above-average ratings. Zaire and his sister, Snowmass Lovelight, were entered into the Produce of Dam category at The Great Western Alpaca Show (GWAS) in May 2017. Taking a 2nd place behind one of the largest farms in the US, Amber Autumn Alpacas, was a great accomplishment for our farm. Zaire placed 2nd in Halter there.
