ESTATES ASLAN OF NARNIA Aslan's sire is Patagonia’s El Galan, our magnificent 4x champion and multiple blue ribbon winning herdsire out of Patagonia’s Cayo. El Galan has an elegant, soft handle, buttery fleece, and is a strong-boned pure white male. Aslan's 1/2 sister is our Judge's Choice recipient and 5x champion, Estates Wedding Tapistry. Aslan's maternal line is known for lasting fineness. His dam is our 2x champion, and champion producer, Patagonia's Arctic Sun. Aslan's maternal grandsire, Patagonia’s El Vasco is one of the finest and most dense true black males! El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). At age 10 El Vasco was maintaining a 23.6 AFD. Aslan's maternal great-grandsire is the famous Neruda (one of the industry's rare dark point grey's, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction)! Aslan was on our 2017 show string, winning Blue Ribbons at the ABI, GWAS, and CABA Classic shows! To give you an idea how pleased we are with him, Aslan also took part of our Breeders Best Three, where he helped bring home Blue Ribbons for ACE at both the CABA Classic and Carolina Alpaca Celebration shows! Amanda VandenBosch awarded Aslan a 2nd Place ribbon at the AOA National show (*1st Place was our Estates Legendary Picasso). ESTATES CARIBBEAN PASSION Caribbean Passion is the daughter of Snowmass Pure Passion, our outstanding 7x Blue Ribbon Get of Sire and champion producing herdsire. Passion represents 30 years of passion in breeding for the perfect-colored fleece on the most beautiful-bodied alpaca. Snowmass Alpacas said, “Snowmass Pure Passion is the most magnificent Light Fawn Matrix son Snowmass Alpacas has ever produced.” Her maternal great grandsire is none other than R&R Oliver Twist (from Canadian Judge Ruth Elvestad’s dynamic breeding program with emphasis on fineness and density). Oliver Twist has produced outstanding offspring in Canada and the United States, that exhibit fine, uniform micron in their fleeces, along with crimp and correct, solid conformation. Caribbean Passion's maternal great-granddam, Avacanterra 22U is the daughter of R&R Maximus 077P, a black grandson of Kelowna's Salute to Cuzco. Canterra's paternal grandsire is R&R Alder 097L, one of the main herdsires at R & R Alpacas for many years. On 7/28/21, Caribbean Passion gave us a beautiful light fawn female sired by our gorgeous 9x Champion & multiple Blue-Ribbon Winner, Estates Legendary Picasso. On 9/24/22, Caribbean Passion presented us with a lovely light fawn female also sired by our outstanding multi-champion, Estates Legendary Picasso. Her daughter, Estates Picasso's Dominica won 1st Place at the 2023 ABR Fall Festival Alpaca Show, 1st Place at the 2023 American Alpaca Showcase, 2nd Place at the 2023 A-OK Rose Rock Alpaca Show: Walking Fleece (1st Place won Reserve Champion) as well as 2nd Place ribbons from the 2023 ABR Fall Festival: Walking Fleece, 2023 Illinois Alpaca Show, and 2023 A-OK Rose Rock Show: Halter shows. On 4/12/24, Caribbean Passion gave birth to a good-looking beige male also sired by our Multi-Champion, Estates Legendary Picasso.
