Stella is the daughter of our own Sabrina and takes after her in everything except color. She has strong grey genetics on her sire's side. She’s got a dense fleece with nice character that is holding its fineness well. She’s friendly and easy going. On September 27, 2014 Stella had a beautiful, strong, healthy 16.5 pound fawn girl, Solara, from our own Patagonia's Darwin! On September 27, 2015 Stella had a strong, healthy modern silver grey boy, Stratos, from our modern grey champ, Diego! Stella is a great mom with lots of milk.

We are beyond excited to add this stunning boy to our herdsire lineup. One of our next-generation males. Extremely beautiful fleece that carries highly advanced character, staple formation, fineness, uniformity of micron, and density. This male has a terrific phenotype and is stocky and compact. Great bone and perfect bite. He has now begun breeding and we are excited to see what he produces!!! Hero continues to amaze us with his histogram stats as he is aging. And he is also producing phenomenal crias for us. We bred him to a variety of colors in 2019 to test his ability to produce color. It seems he is allowing the dam line to push color through while also substantially improving the fleece quality and uniformity across the blanket. He is stamping out a gorgeous phenotype and stunning head on every single cria that has hit the ground! Proudly co-owned with Thordarson Farms!

Description

*can be sold with 5month old male cria at side!* Solara, out of legendary black herdsire Patagonia's Darwin, is a big, beautiful girl with very dense, coiled fleece. She's a light fawn with grey tips all over-- she has plenty of grey genetics from both sides of her family tree including Danko, Paladin and Bisturi! Solara is sweet and curious, with a great temperament. She is currently bred to Judges Choice winner Amerikan Hero On January 31, 2017, Solara had a taupe colored male cria with the most exquisite fleece, from harlequin grey herdsire, Taupie! In March 2018, Solara gave birth to a fantastic harlequin/appy male, sired by our late, great harlequin appy stud, Billabong! December 2022 Solara had a male from a repeat breeding to appy male Patriotic Gentlemen. Though appearing solid white, we have found 1 extremely small hidden fawn spot and wouldn't be surprised if we find another small one once shearing him. January 2024 Solara gave birth to a fawn male with a dark skin base on his ears/nose.
