Sugarland's Challenger began his show career at the 2019 AOA Nationals in Denver where he was awarded the Supreme Champion Dark Male at just 10 months of age. He then went on to win a total of 7 Champion Banners and 3 more Judges Choice Awards at the Spring Shows before turning one year old. Challenger has been described by Judges as a "Power house fleece producer" and having fleece like "I've never seen before". Carrying an "Extraordinary amount of fleece on a rock solid frame" having "Unique crimp style going from his top knot all the way to his knees". " Superior density and fineness with an oily feel" Challenger's sire is Snowmass Paso Robles who carries extreme density on a compact frame and his dam is Majestic's Peruvian Demetria, our 13 Time Champion Jumanji daughter.

In the following weeks she went on to take Color Champion at the Illinois Show, Rail Splitter Show and also at the MOPACA in Kansas City. We are excited for Middleton's next cria due this coming June. We have her bred to Majestic's Dominant, our 12 time champion and judges choice dark fawn Jumanji son. Checkmate was the first born from our 2019 AOA National Supreme Champion Male, Sugarland's Challenger. We are absolutely thrilled that Challenger is producing black. Checkmate's true black fleece carries an amazing crimp style that runs from his top knot to his toes and is so very fine it's hard to take your hands off of him. Checkmate's dam, Lady Middleton is one of our coveted Elite Maximus girls. Middleton also is the dam of Sugarland's Sadie, a nine-time Champion who has now earned her spot in our foundation herd. Middleton has definitely passed her elite fineness onto her true black son and he carries the amazing crimp structure and density of his sire.
