SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Brown
AOA# 35279990DOB: 9/15/20159 yrs
GLR Joaquin is the a full brother to the two time 2015 Judges Choice True Black Female GLR Jamiyah. He is a gorgeous dark brown like his mother LCA Jaimica, who is also the mother of GLR Rastamon, the 2015 Dark Reserve Herdsire of the Year at the AAA Futurity. Jaimica has produced nothing but champions no matter who she's bred to and this Picasso son looks to be in the running to follow in his siblings footsteps. His luster, lock, coverage and conformation are right up to par and his micron is 17.7. His show record as a young juvenile is impressive and at just six months he was the Reserve Brown Color Champion at the AOA and 2016 MAPACA Jubilee. Not bad for a youngster! As a yearling, he came back and won Color Champion at AOA and Reserve Color Champion at CABA and All Suri Network Fleece Show. Joaquin's offspring won a 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Nationals in 2022. Joaquin on Sunshine also took a 1st at Nationals, CABA and AWE. He then followed up with a Reserve Champion at PNAA IFA Show and also placed Reserve Champion in a special class - Uniformity of micron. 2017 Suri Network Fleece Show- Good solidity of lock along with luster and handle. Amanda VandenBosch. 2018 CABA/Palooza- Secondaries are quite fine with excellent luster. Proudly Co-Owned with Halo Ranch, Jessica and Zack Hackett.

Dam: ARYA of PPS

ARYA of PPS

SuriOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 35303701DOB: 6/5/20159 yrs
Arya is very much like her dam in that she is compact but conformationally correct and proportional alpaca. She shares here excellent fleece characteristics of both her dam, PPF Faline (Rico daughter) and her sire, Dior. She has a MFD at 17.0. She has a slick handle and very lustrous which she consistently passes to her cria. Arya was shown at CABA again this year as a yearling and the judge really loved her shorn, too. She was able to really express her fineness, consistency, lock structure, and luster after being shorn. She is definitely a keeper and we look forward to seeing her offspring. Arya's offspring have incredible fleece, too. Her 2019 cria Yodaline fiber stats were amazing with an AFD 16.7µ; SD 3.3%; CV 19.9%. Her 2021 cria is even finer.

BIG TIMBER'S QUEBRACHO

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 35113270DOB: 8/1/20159 yrs
We are excited to announce that Big Timber Quebracho is back on the farm. We had the opportunity to purchase this male back and we didn't hesitate! Judge Choice and 2X Champion --Quebracho comes from the highest quality champion genetics. His multi-champion stud female line includes the best: Arizona Sage, Accoyo Starcrossed, Eleuteria and Accoyo Harmony. His sire, SBS Stardust, is a multi-champion, with all-star genetics behind him as well. Lingering fineness is a hallmark of his genetic pool coming from his dam side. Look at the color genetics behind this male. He throws great color in his crias when bred to color, along with his lingering fineness, luster and density. When bred to white, he has also produced beautiful white crias who excelled in the show ring. Quebracho has produced multiple champion offspring. Quebracho is a strong, well balanced true to type male. His fleece shimmers with luster on the inside and outside and his highly aligned, dense, fine locks are absolutely stunning. No wonder when you see his biopsy and histogram results. His biopsy results are the tops: 68.75 follicles SQ/MM, 14.5 to 1 for S/P Ratio, 10.8 micron variation between secondaries and primaries, a very low 20% secondary fiber medullation & 4 out of 4 gland presence. His 2017 biopsy AFD equates to 20.04 micron. His glandular infrastructure accounts for his high level of luster and his low medullation is associated with excellent handle. This is a highly heritable trait. In 2017, Quebracho was evaluated by Cheryl Gehly of the Suri Network Suri Herd Improvement Program (SHIP) and received top scores (1-5 with 5 being the highest score possible). He scored 5s on all conformation traits and 4's and 5's on his fleece traits. Quebracho is in the top 5% in the 2024 EPDs. Quebracho's quantitative data supports his position as a top ranking herdsire in the country. Let the data and his champion offspring speak for the high quality of this fabulous herdsire.

Description

Excellent bloodlines with Shavano, GLR Picasso, Inca and Armani. Yodaline is a good sized, very dense female that has great lock structure and is very fine. Because of covid, we didn't go to any shows in the last 2-years, unfortunate for her. At almost 3-years old, I caught her and felt her fleece. It was OMG! She was so fine, soft and a slick handle. I won't be selling her, I will find another herdsire to breed her to instead. At 20-months: AFD: 16.7 µ SD: 3.3 µ CV: 19.6%
