Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, a great addition to our herd since summer 2019. With the successful years of having Snowmass Pure Reserve XX and the offsprings he produced, we needed to find a herdsire that would continue the art of breeding and advance us into another level of quality in alpacas. In our 2020 crop of crias from Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, we found just that, a consistent quality of strong, dense, fine, organised and uniform fleeces in these crias. Everlasting Highlander XX participated in 2 fleeces shows at 4 & 5 years of age where he showed elite results in all categories with comments "Crazy fine & uniform, especially for age" and " Quite impressive fineness of secondaries for age!!" Everlasting Highlander XX is a result of 30 years of committed passion in the improvement of alpaca genetics at Snowmass Alpacas. He is compact, dense, uniform with longevity of fineness showing at the age of 6 a histogram of 18.6/4.1/1.2>30 SF 18.3 with a curvature of 66!!! January 31, 2022. It's with great sadness that we announce that Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX passed away this morning. A necropsy will be done to try and understand his death.

Update 2024: Congratulations Miriquidi Alpacas with the recent Color Champion white male with MQ ARIYA EVERLASTING'S FANTASTIC(son of Ariya XXXtreme's Fantine). Fantastic was awarded this prize at the 2024 Expo Alpaka show in Graz, Austria. Bravo! Ariya XXXtreme's Fantine, Champion & Reserve Champion, a beautiful black female out of Snowmass Truly XXXtreme. On her dam side, you can find MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite. Fantine is a proven female producing a female out of Pure Reserve (that is now sold) and a female out of Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX. Fantine's is waiting for her 2021 cria out of Everlasting Highlander for the month of July. Fantine is a true to type alpacas with beautiful fiber coverage, soft handle, still today in 2021, that is fine and dense. Fantine is now sold and will be going to Germany this coming fall. 2024 Update: At the 2024 Alpaca Quebec Spring Show, GoldenTreasure's offspring were awarded the following: Ariya GoldenTreasure's Debonair, Color Champion Black Male Ariya GoldenTreasure's Kachina, Color Champion Light Female and Supreme Junior Female 2023 Update: Ariya Pure Reserve Golden Treasure, 2023 Grand Supreme Champion, Color Champion Fawn showing at the age of 57 months an extremely well organized fleece, extremely dense with high frequency with a lot of amplitude. The correlation between the primaries and secondaries is very close with not a lot of variation across the blanket which also leads to an extremely soft handle. Conformationally, he is just a macho male! Alpaca Coat Colour Test Result: Ee Aa 2022 Alpaca Quebec Judge's Choice Award, Ariya Pure Reserve's Golden Treasure is the product Sunnyhill Conopa's Spirit and Snowmass Pure Reserve XX. Golden Treasure produced this last summer 2022 a dark fawn female and bay black male. Both have great conformation matching their sire's elite style with beautiful density and fineness. Golden Treasure's 2021, 3rd fleece, was entered in the Alpaca Quebec show and received great comments with 82.5 points with a 9 on 10 for absence of guard hair. Amanda VandenBosch described his fleece as dense, uniform, well nourished and organized through staple. He's a true example of an Snowmass Pure Reserve offspring. Golden Treasure's 4th fleece was entered in the 2022 Alpaca Quebec Fleece Show and received 80.5 points with comments of "stunning fineness of secondaties and primaries in this bright fleece. Wow!"
