According to Barreda, Royal Fawn ranked as one better than he had ever produced at Estancia Accoyo in Peru. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 & 2000 Get-of-Sire winner at the AOBA National Show & record-breaking highest selling male in alpaca history in October 2005. Tehya, Troy’s dam, has produced top-notch herdsires such as: Troy (Sizlin Rose,) Terrill (El Principio,) Taylor Made (Eclipse,) Turbo Tribute (Silver Signature,) Duke of Earl (Eros,) & Thunderstruck (Ameretto.) His phenotype displays extreme coverage, thick bone (tree trunk legs,) a broad chest, correct conformation & stellar head style. His legs are straight & bite correct. A very dense, true black fleece covers his compact & stout frame. That velvety fleece opens into a very uniform, bright fleece, displaying a beautiful consistent crimp style & very few large primary fibers. ANDINA'S EFFIE Effie is the daughter of 4x Champion, Crescent Moon's Nitro. Her paternal grandsire, Crescent Moon’s Kryptonite, is an 8x Champion who has won 10 First Place awards. Kryptonite was a 2002 Futurity Champion! In addition, Kryptonite was a National Champion in 2002 & 2003. He was also the Futurity Reserve Black Male Champion. He won six additional Championships under many different judges & spanning three spring show seasons. In 2006, Kryptonite was sold for 1/2 interest for $175,000 making him second in line as the highest priced black alpaca ever sold. Her dam, Fir Cove's Paula, has a nice pedigree as well. She is the daughter of black multi-champion, MSA Pinot Noir, who took the Black Color Champion ribbon as well as the first-place ribbon at both the 2003 AWE and 2003 Empire Alpaca Extravaganza shows. Pinot Noir is also producing ribbon winning offspring, including Champions and Reserve Champions. Paula's maternal grandsire is Sinopsis Nocturna 527, a jet-black male best known for his fine, fine fleece. Andina's Blues in Night won Color Champion at the 2019 A-OK Alpaca Blast Off, 1st Place at the 2019 AOA National Show (Amber Autumn Troy won Color Champ), and several other ribbons in 2019. Blues in Night has now joined our breeding program at Alpaca Country Estates. On 5/17/20, Effie had a pretty true black female sired by Amber Autumn Troy. On 5/19/21, Effie gave birth to a lovely true black female also sired by Amber Autumn Troy. On 5/10/22, Effie presented us with a beautiful true black female again sired by Amber Autumn Troy. On 6/17/23, Effie gave birth to a handsome true black male cria also sired by our multi-champion, Amber Autumn Troy. On 6/14/24, Effie presented us with a beautiful true black female sired by 8x Champion, Irish Meadows' Peruvian Showtime.

Patagonia Estates Sakima is a gorgeous jet-black male with fine, bright, and amazingly dense fleece. When you touch this fleece, your heart will melt! His fabulous dense bundling goes from head to tail, and from back to underbelly, and into his legs. He has a very soft handle, good substance of bone, excellent conformation, lock and character are extremely nice, and magnificent head and leg coverage. Genetics for Sakima include Snowmass Andean Midnight and Patagonia's Lennox, a magical combination for success! Sakima’s sire, Patagonia's Chilkoot (Lennox son), was assessed by Amanda VandenBosch as an "A-" having "excellent fiber coverage with great phenotype."
