AOA# 36048014DOB: 7/16/20222 yrs
We purchased this boy as a juvi and we could not be more pleased with him. We fell in love with his sire who only showed once. Troub has a beautiful fine and uniform fleece with a high amplitude of crimp.
2024 Biopsy results
Andina's Troubadour was biopsied as a 24 month old huacaya male. He
weighs 125 pounds. His uniformity scan shows fibers clusters that are uniform
in size and placement within his connective tissue. He demonstrates level 1 of 4
gland structure around most follicles. Glands should be associated with luster
and fiber quality. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland
density is likely nutritional. Twenty five typical clusters showed an average S/P
ratio of 11.4 to 1. Note from all scans that near 100% of his secondary fibers
show medullation. The density study from 4 sections of 1 SQ MM of skin
surface is 54.75 follicles per SQ MM of skin. 100 typical secondary fibers
averaged 18.5 microns and 50 typical primary fibers averaged 31.1 microns.
This figures an average S/P spread of 12.8 microns and an AFD of 19.67
microns. Troubadour is showing above average fineness of fiber.
