S&L Peruvian Bandito has done it again. Once more, the Black Magic, Silvino lines crossing with Matador and Augusto have produced a powerful young light brown female, NPA Regina. A fleece that exhibits all the characteristics I like to see in lingering fineness and maintaining all the structure necessary for this consistency level. Her staple length is her weakness. We are incredibly proud of NPA Regina and that we can offer her high-end genetics to the alpaca community. NPA Regina has foundation females all through her pedigree, and her grandsire is the well-known SA Peruvian Black Epic, known to pass color when bred to it. S&L Bandito's, Regina's sire, and a Black Epic son, conformation is excellent. His typey teddy bear full fleece head combined with a fleece that carries a medium amplitude and medium frequency crimp throughout are serious attributes. He has a lovely hand for his color and maintains medium density. Nwa, ltd Flash, NPA Oliana's sire, represented well at Alpacapalooza 2015. His daughter, Amerikan Freedom, took 2nd yearling white female and Reserve color champion, Micro, of course, took 1st mature white male and reserve color champion. Strawberry Field, a juvie white male, took 1st in an excruciatingly tricky class of 14. Flash's sister, Daniella, also took 3rd white yearling female behind color champ and reserve color champ. The following month, at the CABA Classic level IV show, with over 500 of the best alpacas of the PNWA present, Flash's daughter, Amerikan Freedom, took Judge's Choice Huacaya Female. What an honor!!!

Service Sire: Mirakel (Appaloosa)

Grade 0 "Most Uniform in Grade" PNAA '23

Mirakel (Appaloosa)

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige, Medium Fawn, Dark Fawn
AOA# 36059225DOB: 9/5/20223 yrs
Mirakel is now a proven herdsire, and his first three crias have exceeded every expectation. All three are patterned—two Reverse Appaloosas and one Leopard Appaloosa—each displaying strong frames, typey head styles, straight legs, and exceptional newborn fleece. His debut results place him as a highly promising male in our rare-color and Appaloosa program. Mirakel carries elite fleece qualities, correct structure, balance, and a pleasing head style. His show career includes multiple top placements, highlighted by his outstanding win as: 2023 PNAA “Most Uniform in Grade – Grade 0” An impressive achievement for an Appaloosa competing against solid-colored animals at the finest grade level. We have followed MIrakel's dam for years as she is the closest appaloosa descendant to LF Del a Burl, the handsome appaloosa male that was exported to Germany. With his departure, these genetics were limited to just two females in the United States-- one of which is MaRs Dixie-- MIrakel's dam. Dixie is the only appaloosa descendant of daughter from LF del A Burl. In Germany, Burl went on to produce 50+ cria, the majority of which are appaloosa and/or patterned. Mirakel's grand-dam, Sugar Shoo, was a full Peruvian and a granddaughter of Auzengate, a Peruvian male, noted for throwing appaloosa cria. Mirakel's maternal side carries the Victor line and is stacked with champions, including Eastwind's Snowstorm. What He Is Producing ** Mirakel’s first crias include: Rare Gem Dappled Daphne – Reverse Appaloosa (Dam: H2R Myrtle) Warm fawn base with soft white spotting, feminine presence, and a correct frame. **Rare Gem Mirakel’s Halo – Leopard Appaloosa (Dam: Raya Sunshine) Bright, expressive color, beautifully organized fleece, and crisp dark spotting. **Rare Gem Enchanted Manly Man – Reverse Appaloosa (Dam: Girly Girl) Sharply defined white spotting on a medium/light brown base, excellent density, and confident, balanced style. Consistency & Strengths Across all three crias, Mirakel is stamping: • typey heads and short muzzles • straight legs and balanced proportions • bright, well-bundled fleece • confidence and sweet temperament • expressive color—even from non-Appaloosa dams Program Contribution Mirakel is proving to be a sire who adds style, presence, quality, and rare color. With three outstanding patterned crias from three different females, he is off to a powerful start. We look forward to continuing his role in advancing our Appaloosa and rare-color breeding program.

Description

PBR Promise’s in the Dark is an incredible medium fawn female that we are thrilled to bring into our breeding program. Her fleece is fine, dense, bright, and has an excellent, advanced crimp. Promise’s sire, R Creek’s Legendary Eclipse, a RCC (Futurity 2016) and CC (MAPACA 2016), is a true black male with the fleece characteristics of a light animal. He comes from a rare pedigree, with well-known names such as Snowmass Hemingway XX, Snowmass Arctic Blue, Snowmass Quechua, and Snowmass Matrix. NPA Regina, Promise’s dam, is no slouch herself. With her well-known grandsire, SA Peruvian Black Epic on the top of her pedigree and grandsire RC NWA LTD Flash on the bottom, she brings crimp, fineness and brightness to the table. We are excited to see what Promise’s will do for our appy/harley herd! Promises has been bred to the CC appaloosa, Cygnus for a winter (yikes!) cria! We are excited to see what this pairing will produce for us…and so grateful we have a heated stall!
