Rare Appaloosa Genetics! Wahoo's dam is the closest appaloosa descendant to LF Del a Burl, the handsome appaloosa male that was exported to Germany. With his departure, these genetics were limited to just two females in the United States-- one of which is MaRS Dixie-- Wahoo's dam. Dixie is the only appaloosa descendant of daughter from LF del A Burl in the U.S. In Germany, Burl went on to produce 50+ cria, the majority of which are appaloosa and/or patterned. We are limiting the number of outside breedings to Wahoo. We have several females that are currently bred to him that are available or will be in the near future.

Unfortunately, we lost her 2022 cria due to a dystocia, malposition of the cria. Not her fault, it was just one of those things. Hope does a great job as mom and her crias thrive with no interference from us humans. A great foundation female that does her job well!
