ESTATES SILVER BOREAS Boreas' sire is Chief Grey Feather, an outstanding producer of champions with dense, soft micron fleece. Paternal "Royal Lineage" Includes: (Accoyo) 4 Peruvian Legacy, (Accoyo) PPPeruvian Grandmaster, PPPeruvian Naomi, Peruvian Nome, Peruvian Matador, plus many generations of black and grey genetics. His dam, Estates Silvery Steel Brittany is out of Neversummer's US Steel. Boreas’ maternal granddam and Desert Deserado’s granddam are one in the same, Janus’ Bewitched, who is out of CR&R Cargual, a great line from Canada. This magnificent medium silver-grey male grew up on the 2017 show string at an early age. Boreas won a Blue-Ribbon in the Bred and Owned Class at Alpaca Breeders Invitational 2017 show. You can see the diversity of color in the class. On our 2018 show string, Judge Peter Kennedy presented Estates Silver Boreas with a Blue Ribbon at the California Classic Show and a 2nd place ribbon at the 2018 CABA Classic show. He also brought home a 2nd place ribbon from the 2018 Alpacapalooza show, presented by Judge Jude Anderson. Boreas filled out, has handsome staple length, soft crimp, and is extremely dense. In 2021, judge Arturo Pena assessed our top alpacas & was impressed by several of Boreas' offspring. Boreas is a Champion Producer and is on his way to becoming a strong grey asset to our breeding program! His son, MHAR Crystal Blue Boreas is currently a 5X Champion. Several of Boreas’ progeny brought home awards on our 2023 show string. His son, Estates Black GoldXXX won Color Champion & 1st Place at the 2023 Houston Livestock Alpaca Show! Cedar's Black Thunder is our favorite up and coming Herdsire. Pure black fine fleece and has the macho style even for his size. Thunder is a farm favorite in both fleece and personality. Thunders histogram numbers and EPD’s compliment his show winnings and the judge’s comments. His fineness and character in his fleece are consistent across his blanket. His density is relative to his fineness. Thunder’s compact frame is nicely balanced and he has excellent substance of bone. We are excited to add his genetics from his dam and his sire to our herd beginning with our Spring breeding schedule. Thunder has settled at least one female on the farm for a 2025 cria.
