April 2023 upddate: We have 5 Zinger offspring going to the Great Western Alpaca Show. They will all compete in walking fleece, halter and three will compete in a class called Get of Sire (3 alpacas with the same sire but different dams), and two will compete in Produce of Dam (2 alpacas from the same dam, at least 1 year apart - in this case also the same sire). We are hoping they all do well. Each alpaca will be judged comparatively on traits passed down from their sire, Zinger. On 10/5/21, Countess was bred to Alpaca Palace's Zinger for a 2022 cria. Unfortunately, Countess lost her cria, which was probably due to all the smoke from the wildfires all around us. However, we are delighted to inform you that we have bred Countess to Alpaca Palace's Zinger for a cria due in April 2023. The vet has confirmed that she's pregnant and we're eagerly awaiting the arrival of her offspring. We have some fantastic news to share! On May 12, 2023, Countess gave birth to a handsome male cria weighing 18.8 pounds. We have named the cria Sawdust's Linden, and he's already showing off his straight, strong bone and beautiful crimpy fleece. We can't wait to see him make his debut at his first halter show in Cheyenne, WA in May 2024. We're grateful to have Countess and her beautiful offspring as a part of our family! 10/2025 Countess has been bred to Sawdust's Armandi (A Crescent Moon Buster son/ Elite Crescendo grandson) for an October 2026 cria.
