SEE ARAGON AT THE 2025 AOA NATIONAL SHOW!! YES, YOU HEARD IT RIGHT, AN 8YO IS COMING WITH US! Red Granites Aragon is one of the finest highest curve fawn fleeced stud males in our breeding program. He has routinely stayed in a the limits of the Royal Alpaca fleece stats, even as a breeding male with crias on ground. He is our main goal as a huacaya breeder, lasting fineness with density. His line lineage is quite unique with a Fawn Sire: CCNF Legionnaire, a son of Snowmass Matrix Majesty who is now deceased. His Dam is one of our finest .38 Special daughters, Crescent Moon's Anna Lucia, who has produced multiple Futurity & National Champions in an array of dark-colors. Aragon is by far her best son produced thus far. Red Granites Aragon is a striking medium fawn, award-winning male. He has a very beautiful fleece. Aragon carries an extremely soft fine, yet very dense fleece, with amazing brightness to add on. He carries a full fleece body of high-frequency low amplitude fleece with small individual little bundles throughout, and is very consistent throughout the body. He has carried a Grade 0 fleece since is first shearing, which is amazing considering he is now a 5 year old breeding male. We took Aragon to a few shows but didn't return until he was of mature age due to his extreme qualities. Aragon blossomed a little late into his show career. He wasn't on our showing list until fall of 2017 but never returned on our list till TXOLAN in 2018 where he was awarded a 2nd place and Reserve Color Champion. After that point, he was winning anything above 3rd places. At the National Western Stock Show in 2020 at 3 years of age, he was awarded the 2020 Grand Champion male, as a 3-year-old!! We then brought Aragon to the 2020 AOA National Show and he did not disappoint us! As a 42.8-month-old male, he came home with the Fawn AOA National Color Champion win. He has produced colors in all colors, championships winners and top show placers. Fiber and Fleece Description Carries a great high curve 5 years remained to have a high curve 66.6, and high frequency of crimps Excellent brightness and extreme consistency of fiber character over the entire blanket Bright, Fine, Uniform crimp structuring throughout FINENESS GRADE 0 at ages 1, 2, and 3 years old FINENESS GRADE 0 CURRENT age 5 years

Red Granites Vida

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Brown, Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 35168645DOB: 9/17/20177 yrs
Red Granites Vida is an exceptional female, but that is a given considering her genetics of Kirwin and Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose... She has a smokey roan coloration to her and a fleece with lingering fineness and uniformity.

National Champion!

Description

Ironhide Vapor is a male packed to the brim with ELITE color genetics! Vapor’s maternal-lineage is one that needs to be explored to be appreciated. His roan dam, Red Granites Vida is an elite daughter of Kirwin and out of a Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose daughter, Red Granites Sizlin Vixen. Kirwin was a 13-time Champion and was one of the best brown males of his generation, contributing to some of the finest lines in the United States. Sizlin Vixen herself is out of MSA Valpolicella, a 3-time Champion Brown female that Marc and Sharon bought from Morning Sun Alpacas at auction. Valpolicella (or Valpo as she is affectionately known as) was a solid foundation dam for Red Granite Ranch from 2009 to 2019, producing White to Black, and champion offspring who have then went on to produce champions. Her most notable son is Copaca’s Summit, a Tequila Sunrise son with Top 1 % EPDs went on to only have one cria, named Red Granites Pennacle, a 3-time White Champion and 2-time Best Bred & Owned Champion male, now owned by Deja Vu Alpacas. Valpolicella also recently passed away. Valpo’s notable daughters include: Red Granites Victory Rose (3-time Champion, Top 1% EPDs), and Red Granites Sizlin Vixen - both are former Red Granite Foundation females… The paternal-lineage of Vapor includes 2-time AOA National Fawn Champion; Red Granites Aragon. Aragon has held a micron within the 14-18 micron range his entire life, and has the unique fleece characteristics of a vicuña. He is sired by the incredible CCNF Legionnaire, a National & Futurity Fawn Champion winner. He too holds and incredibly fine fleece for his age. He is sire of Canadian Supreme Champions, National Championship winners, and even the Densest Biopsied alpaca. Not to mention, his offspring were hand selected by the incredible breeders in Australia; EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud. He stands on strong bones with great capacity and size for his age and has a super “typey” phenotype! Not to mention, he has been a solid show contender garnering five championship banners, including one in Walking Fleece!! Very happy with with this male and how he is developing. He is for sale! Color Genotype: EE a2a3 (non-grey) Ironhide Vapor will produce medium fawn to true black depending on how he is bred, he will never produce white/light. In addition, he will pass down an "a" allele to all of his progeny, so they will all cover black. Fleece Description Incredibly soft handling fleece. Wonderful uniformity of micron, his primary to secondary ratio is exceptionally good. He also carries through with brightness, and a wonderful crimp style + above average staple length. Ironhide Vapor is owned by Cadence Rarden (Marc and Sharons granddaughter) for her private program called Ironhide Alpacas.
