This sire is simply fabulous!!! He's exactly the kind of genetics to put into a foundation quality breeding program. King's Checkmate is the product of iconic genetics; on his Father's Side: Annual's BEA-2 Bomber and Aussie .38 Special. From his Mother's side: Emerald Farm's Orlando Cloud Emerald Farm's Orlando Cloud offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Bomber was awarded the Color Championship at AOBA Nationals two consecutive years, and a Reserve Color Championship in fleece... second only to his sire, the incredible, .38 Special!

Her fleece shows early indications of density, crimp, and shine. We've submitted her fleece samples and we are confident they won't disappoint. A farm visit will highlight, her gorgeous light white fleece which sets this gal apart from just about any other snow white alpaca in her category. She's going to be a looker for sure. Keep an eye on this gal she will be going places!

Description

Big Oak Farm's Annie Oakley is in tribute to another one of her Dam's Cria Wandering Oakley who unfortunately was lost far to soon. Annie Oakley was born unassisted in our Northern Pasture. It is always a surprise to see another little face staring back at you. I always chuckle to myself a bit whenever we are surprised by a new birth. You first, question yourself as to if you are seeing things correctly. Then you surmise that it must be the other little Cria sitting next to another expectant mother. Then you ask yourself, why would they be sitting next to someone that isn't their mother...... Yep, you end up feeling like the not so sharp knife in the kitchen drawer.
