UPDATE: Max's first offspring BL Zestiny wins Supreme Champion at her first show A.L.P.A.C.A. April 6,7th 2024. We are thrilled to announce that Max Factor at his first and only Halter show, won white male Champion and Supreme of the show at the Camrose Majestic Fall show 2023 :) We are happy to be the new owners of Max Factor. He has the Proven genetics, for exquisite fibre and strong Macho conformation that we would like to add compliment our herd. Max's 3rd fleece is looking excellent, and he carries the crimp style and character well into his bib and up the neck, he is also holding fleece length to the lower shoulder and hip. We were looking for Accoyo bloodlines for retained fleece weights and strong frames that Don Julio Barreda infused with line breeding. Max has sired 4 cria in 2024, 3 males and one female. He is doing an excellent job bred to Foundation XAscott females.

We are pleased to announce That Zenyatta's first offspring Zestiny, Wins Supreme Female at 10 months of age at the largest show in Western Canada. Her second girl is a spitting image of the first, so we will be rebreeding her to Max, why mess up a good thing. Yearling shear weight 10.6 lbs - relaxed staple length 5 in. skirted blanket 5.4 lbs. Zenyatta is the cream of the crop, her Dam Birchleaf Zena was the 2014 Supreme Alpaca at the CNASF, and crossing her with Foundation is a match made in heaven. Zena's progeny have extensive staple length, brightness, density, lock structure, neck fibre, consistency, low SD's, full coverage, all on a strong frame. We named her after an outstanding mare that won 19 of 20 races (losing the last by a head) before retiring her. She has the Champion stance and showring presence that this combination pumps out, and is one of our selection guides for Sires. She is a stunner right now, and by what we see with her siblings, has the ability to hold this with age. We now have sold 2 of Zena's girls Birchleaf Foundations Zerah to Tiger Lily and Spruce Park Alpacas and recently Birchleaf Elegantay to Hubbert Alpacas so we will be hanging onto Zenyatta. Her first offspring sold at 10 months Old to Poland and her second another full sibling female is looking every bit as good :)
