D'Angelo did it again! My son and I loaded up last Friday and went to the MAPA Pronk for the first time. We took D'Angelo and he did not disappoint. He received the following awards: - MABA Alpaca Celebration - 1st Place Mature White Males - White Male Color Championship - Reserve Champion White Male Walking Fleece - Judges Choice Male Haucaya - PAOBA Breeders Showcase - 1st Place Mature White Males - White Male Color Championship - Judges Choice Male Haucaya Attention: D'Angelo had a very productive weekend at the 2022 AOA Nationals. Showing as an Invited Champion, he attained the following accolades: - 1st Place in the invited Champions class - Invited Champions Championship - White Male Color Championship - Light Supreme Championship Many thanks to our partner, Lynn Edens for allowing us to share in this males success. Tom ============================================================================== Announcing a new partnership with Lynn Edens: Lynn Edens describes him this way: Snowmass D'Angelo: This may be the most attractive animal on my farm in North Salem right now. He is just so upright and macho with a beautiful head, coverage, etc. He started working this spring and will have his first crias on the ground early next year. His fleece is excellent – very uniform both within the staple and across his frame, so uniform that until relatively recently I thought he was by Oblivion. Staple length is moderate, he is a bit less bright than some other males and may lack a touch of hand – I am being extremely picky trying to find something negative to say about this male. Too bad this male never showed as he is really something, truly the complete package. Call me to discuss. Tom ****** Attention ****** D'Angelo just bannered twice this weekend in Illinois! He accomplished this at 44 months old and as a working male to boot! Call to schedule your breedings!

Description

Alpaca Palace wrote: LAAF Paladin's Belledin is one of the first Paladin east coast progeny--and also one of his best. Thank you Mike and Sarah for offering one of your finest foundation females for us to add to enhance our breeding program. Belledin is white but carries alot of color in her background. Perfect conformation, medium bone and sturdy frame. Great coverage, with incredible crimp well into her lower legs. Her crimp is very consistent and is evident without even opening her fleece, extending to the very tip of the fiber. Belledin is very dense. She has taken Reserve Champion twice and in the shows where she placed fourth, both times the judges remarked that any of the top four could have been in first. Belledin's dam, LA Belleza placed at the top of her classes in very competitive Level V shows has maintained one of our best fleeces out of Long Acre Alpaca Farm's foundation females. Belledin's sire, Paladin, is an impressive male with a fantastic genetic background. Paladin has one of the densest fleeces and his crimp curvature is possibly one of several highest ever recorded by fiber analysis.
