Snowmass Loro Piana first histogram showed an extreme finest at 10.8 of microns, SD of 2.8, 0.3%>30 with a curvature of 67. Snowmass Loro Piana was also biopsied as a 21 month old white male showing a density of 115.25 follicles square meter. Snowmass Loro Piana, named after the famous luxury textile designer, Loro Piana, was the first in the Snowmass program to produce a fleece finer than Vicuna! The Snowmass longtime goal of producing a high curvature fleece with fineness, brightness, and staple length was realized in this remarkable stud. Truly priceless. Gorgeous, gorgeous girl with incredible fleece, amazing temperament, a great mom, and replacing her mother as the anchor of our white foundation herd. We gave Kashmir a little break after three gorgeous crias (all female) in a row - she had earned it! Fast forward to today, and we are anxiously awaiting her fourth cria bred to our own 13x champion Overture who has been stamping out his phenotypic traits and passing through his fiber characteristics - bright, uniform, fine and dense. Of course Kashmir is no slouch, she has all the same in the way of those traits to boot (stud girl) and passes on her sweet temperament. Super excited...
