19 Time Halter Champion in True Black! 2012 has been good to Jacob Black. Every show he went to, he was the Color Champion, and it didn't matter if it was the Futurity or Nationals. He finished 2012 with a stellar 19 halter champion banners! Jacob Black has great conformation, a beautiful fleece, and a handsome head. His true black fleece is extremely uniform with a very expressive crimp style found normally on white animals. His personality is laid back and gentle. Jacob Black started showing when he was 9 months old, and since that time, he bannered in every show he went to, with the exception of a blue ribbon at the Futurity when he was 10 months old. Jacob is not available to outside breedings. He will be an exclusive, restricted herdsire for our black program, and he will join 15 time champion Knight Rider in producting show winning blacks. Update: Jacob Black wins Reserve Dark Herdsire at the 2015 Futurity and the 2016 Futurity! That is a fabulous achievement! Update: Jacob Black's crias are outstanding, and many of them are already champions themselves!

Dutch is a beautiful rose grey female whose very look and stance says, "Here I am!" She was the very first alpaca to steal our hearts <3 She is very dense, very fine, and has a great crimp structure. Dutch has a confident presence, lovely disposition, and has "it-girl" charm. She is the queen bee of our females - always the first to step ahead of the herd and lovingly warn others with an off-key, cringy noise if danger is present. Dutch had a fancy show career in her prime that she gave up to be an amazing stay-at-home mama. Dutch's first cria born at Cedar & Sage was a light silver grey female named September Sky born in September 2022. Sky inherited many of the award-winning characteristics of her mother paired with her multi-champion father, Avalon's Jacob Black. Sky is performing very well in the show ring! Dutch did not disappoint with her second cria born in September 2023. We welcomed Vik - a combination of Dutch and Estate's Pure Reflection. Vik is continuously complimented for his crimp structure, fineness of fleece, and overall confirmation in the showring and walking fleece. Dutch continues to be one of the strongest foundation females at Cedar & Sage. She is currently bred to EEF Built on Trust and due September of 2026!

Offering 3-Outside Breedings to Challenger in 2025 Sugarland's Challenger began his show career at the 2019 AOA Nationals in Denver where he was awarded the Supreme Champion Dark Male at just 10 months of age. He then went on to win a total of 7 Champion Banners and 3 more Judges Choice Awards at the Spring Shows before turning one year old. Challenger has been described by Judges as a "Power house fleece producer" and having fleece like "I've never seen before". Carrying an "Extraordinary amount of fleece on a rock solid frame" having "Unique crimp style going from his top knot all the way to his knees". " Superior density and fineness with an oily feel" Challenger's sire is Snowmass Paso Robles who carries extreme density on a compact frame and his dam is Majestic's Peruvian Demetria, our 13 Time Champion Jumanji daughter.
