He has excellent genetics on both sides of his pedigree. Sequoia's sister, Valentine, created a fine cria who eventually won a fleece champion in 2021- Alpaca Rainbow Ranch's Apache Gentlemen's Alchesay in Colorado Springs. Many agreed that Valentine's bloodline (Valor) made the championship happen. The beauty of Sequoia's males has inspired us to breed Sequoia with Charli and Viognier for our 2024 offspring. We got Amalie in the summer of 2020, along with her half-sister, Haley. They both are very friendly and allow us to pet them without walking away. From the last three offspring, Amalie produces high-quality, long-length fleece that people would love to get their hands on for various purposes such as spinning. So sweet. We adore Amalie.
