Charlee is one of our much anticipated Gangster crias! A beautiful medium brown female from this pairing is exactly what we were hoping for! Charlee has personality plus and is a farm favourite with the visitors! She loves attention and selfies!! Charlee won FIRST PLACE in her class and went on to win the BROWN CHAMPION (combined male and female) at NAVAN! We always knew Charlee was a champion and now she has the ribbon to prove it!! Judge Kevin O'Leary complimented Charlee on her stature and impeccable conformation. He described her fleece as "highly dense, highly uniform and consistent along the staple...three traits that you want in your breeding program!" Charlee's first cria is here...arriving just 2 hours after her mom, Charm, delivered! Those girls had us on our toes! We bred Charlee to Arriba Amplified in hopes of producing a black offspring and that's exactly what we got! Espresso or "Spro" is a spunky guy! Don't let those copper tips fool you, he's black under there! Charlee has followed in Charm's footsteps as an easy birther, easy milker and exceptional mom. We couldn't be more proud of her. Espresso "Spro" is exactly what we orderd! With some impressive ancestors on both sides of his pedigree we have a feeling that this combination won't disappoint! His paternal grandsire, Oreo Ben, was a legendary black male in Canada before moving to the US. And on his maternal side...Black Hills' The Gangster, has produced champions in every colour! Spro has matured into a stunning black male! He won FIRST in his class of yearling black males at the Rockton in 2025 and continued on to win the combined CHAMPIONSHIP. "Looking at this male, he is overall very sound with a straight topline and a beautiful head style. He has a macho look to him, his gait is smooth with excellent symmetry and good substance of bone. Excellent staple length, good fineness and micron uniformity throughout." Judge, Frauke Berman Spro earned another first place ribbon in a competitive class of black yearling males at the Royal Winter Fair. Unfortunately there weren't enough black entries for a black championship, so he lined up for the pre-supreme round and was second behind the supreme winner. Comments from Jacob Hart: "I really want to recognize the overall frame and conformational attributes of this male. At just 16 months of age, he's already built like most adults are. He has great width to his chest and he is maintaining great capacity from his topline and his back down to the floor of his belly. He also a very phenotypically pleasing head style. As I view his fleece, he is even in colour which is a positive attribute for the black males. His fleece is relatively fine and he is maintaining a uniformity of fineness across his blanket."
