Delphinium, AOA 35586227, is a beautiful black alpaca with outstanding genetics on both sides. She is the product of two gray parents, giving her strong color genetics and versatility for breeding programs. Her dam, Starshire’s Steel Skye, AOA 35074281, is a daughter of the 3X Herdsire of the Year Neversummer’s US Steel, a line well known for producing consistent, high-quality offspring. Her sire is RR Guns’ Kit Carson, AOA 30669109, a 17X Champion with an impressive show record and proven production of elite alpacas. To date, Delphinium has successfully produced three excellent offspring. Her second and third, Talen Ranch’s Chancellor Noir and Talen Ranch’s Edge Rush, will enter the show ring in 2026. Delphinium displays a lovely head, balanced conformation, and a fleece noted for its brightness, softness, and excellent staple length.
