Delphinium, AOA 35586227, is a beautiful black alpaca with outstanding genetics on both sides. She is the product of two gray parents, giving her strong color genetics and versatility for breeding programs. Her dam, Starshire’s Steel Skye, AOA 35074281, is a daughter of the 3X Herdsire of the Year Neversummer’s US Steel, a line well known for producing consistent, high-quality offspring. Her sire is RR Guns’ Kit Carson, AOA 30669109, a 17X Champion with an impressive show record and proven production of elite alpacas. To date, Delphinium has successfully produced three excellent offspring. Her second and third, Talen Ranch’s Chancellor Noir and Talen Ranch’s Edge Rush, will enter the show ring in 2026. Delphinium displays a lovely head, balanced conformation, and a fleece noted for its brightness, softness, and excellent staple length. She carries a beautiful phenotype and has proven herself as a valuable foundation female for any breeding program. After having Chancellor Noir and Edge Rush, we feel lucky to have this female and look forward to more of her offspring.

Description

We would like to introduce you to the very first classic grey herdsire to grace our stud row, ARBF Tango! We are very proud to add him to our stud row and fill his dance card with as many of our colored females as we can. We feel that Tango has beautiful conformation with nice big bone and a perfect bite. He has crimpy very fine sub 20 micron fleece that is uniform in that micron and carries that consistency throughout his blanket. When you look at him he also has very few extending primaries even in the usual areas. Oh! Can’t forget his brightness is also lovely. All that coupled with a fantastic sweet disposition to boot! Now genetics, just one look at his bloodlines and you will know why he carries such a lovely fleece and phenotype. I really don’t need to go into detail when looking at his bloodlines because all his ancestors are well known and have left their legacy. With this post, you will see pictures of him and pictures of different samples randomly taken from his 2024 blanket. We have bred him to Tupelo honey who is our reliable experienced dam and she is spitting off 2.5 weeks post breeding so far. He is open to outside breedings. If you have question, please, don’t hesitate to ask. Special thanks to Donna Noski of Alpacas of Red Barn Farm for producing such a lovely male and allowing us to purchase him! We are looking for a partner who breeds during the winter months. Hate to see him sitting there in the mud not being utilized so he would love a winter home where he can make more babies!
