AspenAlpacas Earl Grey is an exceptional grey herdsire and we are excited about adding him to our breeding program. He stands out with his statuesque silhouette, proud presence, and gorgeous phenotype. He comes by this naturally from breeding two multi-champions. Earl Grey has his sire's outstanding coverage, large bone, and macho, wedge shaped full head, and stunning classic dark silver-grey color. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. This makes for an impressive pedigree that boasts of Majestic Peruvian Jerimiah, MFI Peruvian Jericho, HA Shades of Grey, Peruvian Presidio, PPPeruvian Augusto, 4Peruvian Legacy, Augusto, Cochiti, Caligula, and Victor! Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career. Earl Grey has a beautiful handling fleece in a uniform dark silver-grey color. The color is uniform across his body. The micron range is uniform between his white and black fibers. His first histogram displayed a 17.2 micron, 4.4 standard deviation, and 2.2% over thirty micron. He also carries a very long staple length. The crimp is consistent across his blanket and has a high frequency. The fleece shows great brightness with an excellent degree of density. Earl Grey has already displayed his ability to pass these traits onto his offspring. With 29 cria on the ground, 24 are black or grey and the dams vary from grey to white! MALITTA OF ATV Malitta of ATV has pedigree power of some top Greys & Blacks! She is dense with wonderful character and crimp style. She is TRUE BLACK and no longer tips out. On 7/9/23, Malitta presented us with a beautiful MSG female also sired by our newest grey herdsire, AspenAlpacas Earl Grey. We are proud to announce that ESTATES DANISH SILVER MERMAID recently won Color Champion and 1st Place at the 2025 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes! She also won First Place at the 2024 Houston Show and a 2nd place ribbon at the 2024 A-OK Rose Rock show (*First won Reserve Champion). Estates Giovanni's Titanium Royale is the stunning son of two multi-champions! His lineage reads like a who's who of champion legends! His sire, Amber Autumn Giovanni, is a 3x champion and champion producer with numerous blue ribbons (including 1st Place, 1st Place at both the 2018 and 2019 The Futurity shows, as well as 1st Place at the 2019 AOA National Show). His paternal grandsire is 5x champion and multiple blue-ribbon winner, AOV Accoyo Eros, a topnotch herdsire who also received the coveted Judge’s Choice award at the 2014 Northwest Alpaca Showcase for his fleece. His dam is our incredible Troy daughter, Amber Autumn Royal Ruby, whose impressive show winnings include Two Judge's Choice awards and Five Championship banners!! Royal Ruby passed down her gorgeous phenotype and silver-grey coat to Titanium Royale.
