Earl Grey has his sire's outstanding coverage, large bone, and macho, wedge shaped full head, and stunning classic dark silver-grey color. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. This makes for an impressive pedigree that boasts of Majestic Peruvian Jerimiah, MFI Peruvian Jericho, HA Shades of Grey, Peruvian Presidio, PPPeruvian Augusto, 4Peruvian Legacy, Augusto, Cochiti, Caligula, and Victor! Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career. Earl Grey has a beautiful handling fleece in a uniform dark silver-grey color. The color is uniform across his body. The micron range is uniform between his white and black fibers. His first histogram displayed a 17.2 micron, 4.4 standard deviation, and 2.2% over thirty micron. He also carries a very long staple length. The crimp is consistent across his blanket and has a high frequency. The fleece shows great brightness with an excellent degree of density. Earl Grey has already displayed his ability to pass these traits onto his offspring. With 22 cria on the ground, 18 are black or grey and the dams vary from grey to white! AMBER AUTUMN NICKLES N DIMES Nickles N Dimes' bloodline is known for their excellent fleece. She is the daughter of Snowmass Silver Signature, the "elite grey” from Snowmass Alpacas used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. Signature is a beautiful, compact, typey male whose outstanding genetics include Snowmass Royal Flush, Snowmass Andean Bronze, 4Peruvian Andean Gold 6019, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, and Peruvian Bueno. Her maternal grandsire is 11X Champion, ATV Adonnis, who took 2012 Futurity Reserve Herdsire for dark colored offspring. Adonnis is out of Mr Roosevelt, a champion producer who was a cornerstone for Crescent Moon's black and grey program. Her maternal gg grandsire is Peruvian Andrajo, a full Alianza male imported in 1993 with Hemingway and Bueno. At 20+ years, Andrajo still had 23.8-micron fleece. Offspring: On 5/19/22, Nickles N Dimes presented us with a beautiful medium brown female sired by Amber Autumn Turbo Tribute. On 6/11/23, Nickles N Dimes gave us a handsome medium silver grey male sired by Rockstar's Steely Dan.
