PLUS his yarn is always the first to sell out of each year! Granite checked all of the boxes for us. He has a balanced frame with a good substance of bone, and a perfect bite with a handsome head. He has a beautifully soft fleece with nice crimp, great staple length, wonderful organization, carpet like density, and good fleece weight. To top it off there are some high quality genetics packed into this male! Granite's sire, Irish Meadows Peruvian Showtime, had a successful show career ending with 8 banners, including COLOR CHAMPION two years in a row at the Futurity! This son of Avalon's Jacob Black has continued the family business of producing award winning alpacas! Granite's dam, ARK'S TSUNAMI'S SUZIE, is a banner winner herself by ST 164 ARK'S TSUNAMI a 10 time banner winner who is an EMERALD FARM'S ORLANDO CLOUD son. Granite also has a full sister who has multiple banners under her belt.

Amazing coverage and good density!! Great brightness and crimp with an organized blanket! She is retaining her Staple Length as she matures. Penny is a good mom that cares about her cria. She had her first cria in the fall of 2020. Penny produced a beige female cria (Velma) by AHRF Peruvian MacGregor in September 2020 cria. We were hoping for a fleece machine out of this pair and I think we got it! Velma's fleece has great brightness, crimp, staple, and fineness. Penny produced a light fawn female (Dolly) by AHRF Peruvian Whitlock, a SON of SNOWMASS MATRIX, in June 2022. Dolly has good size, a bright and dense fleece, with correct conformation. This genetic combination will be award winning! Penny produced a STUNNING white faced, modern silver grey, female cria by Irish Meadows' Granite in Sept 2023. We are hoping for a good combination of both their positive traits!
