Chief Grey Feather’s conformation is straight front and rear, he has acorrect bite with a large solid frame. His ideal fineness has a silky hand and is uniform throughout. He has high frequency, well defined crimp which extends to the lower belly. A full Chilean true non-fading black out of 2 greys! Santa Lucia's production is 7 blacks and 4 greys! She has very good conformation, a typey head and reasonable crimp at 13 years old. Santa Lucia is healthy; breeds back easily, has plenty of milk, and should be in production for at least 4 more crias. Offspring: Two of her sons are now being used as studs, and her beautiful dense, crimpy fiber silver grey yearling has been purchased by AAA Alpacas for their herdsire replacement, which attests to Santa Lucia's ability. She produces black regardless of the color of the sire (except for the 4 greys). We haven't tried her with white, but she produced black out of a light fawn 4 times! The cria quality is amazing! In 2008, Lucia had FRA SILVER LACE, a pretty MSG female out of Snowmass Silver Spirit who carries the lineages of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Bueno, Snowmass Peruvian Angelique and Clara-Churicala. After seeing her grey cria by her side, I just had to have this incredible female. This cria weighed in at 19.6 lbs, walked in 15 minutes and tried to nurse by 20 minutes. Now that remarkable, pretty medium silver grey female, just had a beautiful silver grey male on March, 2012, out of our Silverado's Peruvian Silver Fox.
